  Davis Chapel Masonic Temple of Oakland is sponsoring a Political Rally on Saturday, July 14, beginning at 10 a.m. at the Temple, located at 121 Cherry Street in Oakland. All candidates for politial office are invited to participate and the public is invited to attend. Refreshments will be available.

  The pastor and members of Hopewell M.B. Church invite everyone to come and worship with them as they celebrate their Children/Youth Day Program Saturday, July 14, beginning at 5 p.m.     
    “We anticipate that your presence will greatly enhance the service and be a blessing to all,” stated Elder Lee V. Matthews, Sr., Pastor.

Sunday, July 15

  A Women’s Day Service Program will be held at the House of Prayer Church of God In Christ, located on Mill Street in Water Valley, July 15, beginning at 3:30 p.m. Guest speaker for the program will be Missionary Banks of Brownsville, Tenn. Also guests for this program will be the New Hope Church of God in Christ from Bruce.     
    “Please come and help us lift up the name of Jesus,” stated Evelyn Willingham.

  Revival services will be held at Drivers Flat Baptist Church Sunday, July 15, through Friday, July 20. The Sunday homecoming service will begin at 10 a.m., with Bro. William Hodge, Pastor, bringing the message. Lunch will be served about noon in the Fellowship Hall. Weeknight services will start at 7. Refreshments will be served after the Friday night service.
    Guest Speaker for the week night services will be Bro. Kevin Crofford. Guest singers will be “Spirit Filled” from Pontotoc. “Come and join us for a good time serving the Lord,” says Bro. Hodge.

  The Men (and Women) of Brusher Fork M.B. Church cordially invite you to worship with them on Sunday, July 15, beginning at 3 p.m. during their Men’s Day Program. The church is located on Carpenter Road, Grenada. The Annointed Pastor Donald Davis of Spiritual Union in Memphis will be the guest speaker. “This will be a message ordained by God that you don’t want to miss!” stated Rev. B. Brooks, pastor.

 New Providence M.B. Church will have their annual revival services Sunday through Thursday, July 15-19, beginning at 7 nightly. Guest speaker for the services will be Reverend Eric Nelson, pastor of Church Hill M.B. Church, Water Valley. New Providence is located at 14129 Pope/Water Valley Road, Water Valley.

  “Lift Off! Soaring to new heights with God” will be the theme for First United Mehtodist Church’s Vacation Bible School this summer. Vacation Bible School will be held July 16-20 from 5:30 until 7:30 p.m. each day. All children, ages three through 10, are invited to attend.

  Green Goshen C.M.E. Church will host a youth revival July 16, 17, and 18, beginning at 7 nightly. Reverend Marcus Dudley of Moorse Chapel A.M.E. Church will be the evangelist.     
    “Looking forward to seeing you during these revival services,” states Pastor Kenneth Rogers.
