The Choir Day Program that was scheduled for October 20, at 6 p.m. in Miles Memorial CME Church has been postponed to a later date. “The new date will be announced,” stated Sis. Cynthia Shegog, Choir President.

    Miles Memorial C.M.E. Church will have their annual Choir Day Program Saturday, Oct. 20, beginning at 6 p.m. “We are asking all choirs, groups, and soloists to sing two selections of your choice,” says Sis. Cynthia Shegog, Choir President.  “Please come out as we sing praises to our Lord, for He is worthy to be praised,” concluded Sis. Shegog.

  There will be a Gospel Singing in Calvary Baptist Church at Coffeeville October 20th, beginning at 6 p.m. Guest singers will be “The Good Time Xpres” from Grenada. Bro. James West, pastor, Charles Calder, and the entire Calvary Church Family cordially invite everyone to attend this special program.

Sunday, October 21

Pastor W. H. Johnson, Jr. and the Massey Grove Church Family cordially invite everyone to come and worship with them in their Youth Day Services on Sunday, October 21, beginning at 2:30 p.m. Guest speaker will be Minister Lester Watt.

  Sanders Chapel M.B. Church will have their Annual Choir Day Program on the Third Sunday in October, which is October 21, beginning at 3 p.m. “Please come out and share this wonderful program with us,” invites Pastor Mitchell Steen.

  Homecoming is planned for Palestine Church on October 21st. Morning services will begin at 11 o’clock, with dinner on the grounds at 12:30. The afternoon singing will feature Hubert Sanders and family. Guest speaker will be Rev. John Rhodes, pastor of North Main Methodist Church. Everyone is welcome to attend. Donations will be appreciated for the upkeep of the Palestine Cemetery.

  Fall Homecoming Services will be held at Goshen Memorial Chapel Sunday, October 21, beginning at 11 a.m. A pot luck lunch will follow this service. Bring your favorite dish if you wish and join in the worship and fellowship. The Cannanlanders will be present to share their gospel music talents and praise the  Lord. “Come and share with us our ministry to the Glory of God,” states Debbie Fly. Goshen Memorial Chapel is located on County Road 226 between Oakland and Coffeeville.

 

Saturday, October 27

    Mt. Liberty Church will be having its fall fish fry on Saturday, October 27 at 6 p.m.  Everyone is invited to come enjoy a good catfish dinner and fellowship.  There is no charge for the fish fry.

Sunday, October 28

Union Hill CME Church will have their Harvest Day Program October 28th, beginning at 2:30 p.m. Rev. Walter Hoof of Memphis will be the guest speaker. “Everyone is invited to attend this special service,” states Pastor James Johnson and Sponsor Florine Holmes.

 Hopewell M.B. Church will have their Harvest Day Program Sunday, October 28, beginning at 2:30 p.m. Rev. Grady McKinley and the Parris Grove M.B. Church and St. John M.B. Church Families will be special Guests. “Come with an expectancy. Everyone is invited to attend and worship with us during this special service,” state Pastor Lee V. Matthews, Sr. and the Hopewell Church Family.

  Chapel Hill M.B. Church will have their annual Fall Revival October 29 through November 2. Services will begin at 7 p.m. each night. The guest speaker will be Rev. Greg Henderson. “Everyone is invited to attend these services,” states Rev. Eric Nelson, pastor.

Miles Memorial C.M.E. Church will be having their Annual Choir Day Program Sunday, December 2nd, beginning at 3 p.m. “We are asking all choirs, groups, and soloists to render two selections of your choice,” stated Sis. Cynthia Shegog, Choir President. “Please come out and be a part of this program as we sing praises to our Lord, for he is worthy to be praised,” says Rev. Adam Tyson, pastor.
