Christ the Rock Apostolic Church presents J. Michael Wilson, Minister/Singer/Songwriter, three nights, on Nov. 14, 15, and 16, beginning at 7:30 nightly. The church is located at 352 Highway 30 East, Oxford.

The Davis Chapel’s in Oakland, annual Masonic Banquet will be held Saturday, Nov. 17, beginning at 7 p.m. A donation is $10 and everyone is cordially invited to attend.

Everdale Missionary Baptist Church’s Women’s Ministry is hosting a special program Nov. 17, from noon until 2:00 p.m. The topic will be, Don’t Let the Devil Take Ya (Addictions). St. Andrews M.B. Church of Oakland will have a Pastor Appreciation Day Sunday, Nov. 18, with the service beginning at 2:30 p.m. Rev. Hubbard of Mt. Olive M.B. Church in Winona will be the guest speaker. He will be accompanied by his church choir. “Everyone is invited to attend,” stated Shirley McCollins.

Everdale Missionary Baptist will have their annual Pastor Love Program on Sunday, November 18, beginning at 3 p.m. Reverend Mitchell Steen, pastor of Pleasant Grove and Sanders Chapel Missionary Baptist Churches, will be the guest speaker. He will be accompanied by his church families. Lunch will be served after the morning service. Rev. Phillip Brackett, Pastor, Sis. Miles Memorial C.M.E. Church will be having their annual Choir Day Program Sunday, Dec. 2, beginning at 3 p.m.
“We are asking all choirs, groups, and soloists to render two selections of your choice,” stated Sis. Cynthia Shegog, Choir President. “Please come out and be a part of this program as we sing praises to our Lord, for he is worthy to be praised,” says Rev. Adam Tyson, pastor.
