Church News

Sunday, March 30

The resurrection celebration continues this Sunday, March 30, at First Christian Church of Water Valley!  During the morning worship service at 10 a.m. the church’s children and some of their mothers will present, “God’s Rock and Roll Love Story!”

This special musical traces God’s love from the Garden of Eden through Jesus’ death and resurrection.  Using tunes from popular songs of the 1960’s, Mary Freeman has written new lyrics for the songs plus recitations for this simple, but powerful, musical.  You will probably smile, laugh, and shed a tear, but no doubt your heart will be touched by this wonderful message in song as we are reminded of God’s patient and sacrificial love for us.

You and your family are invited to join us!  We will be looking for you at the corner of North Main and South Court Streets this Sunday morning!  For more information please call David Freeman, Minister at 473-2884.
