Oak Grove C.M.E. Church will have its spring revival on April 23, 24, and 25, beginning nightly at 7 p.m. Speaker for these services will be Rev. Morris Stephen, pastor of Bates Chapel of Coldwater.
Friday, April 25
A gospel singing will be held at Drivers Flat Church Friday, April 25, beginning at 7:30 p.m. The guest singing group will be “Long Way To Go.” Refreshments will be served in the Fellowship Hall after the service.
Saturday, April 26
There will be a benefit program at the Mt. Moriah Association Building on April 26, beginning at 6 p.m. for Mr. and Mrs. Lucious Ingram, who lost their home in a fire. All choirs and soloist are invited to come out and participate and help make this program a great success. Everdale M.B. Church will have their Women in Hats Parade April 27, beginning at 3 p.m. The theme for the program will be, Hallelujah and Triumph (H.A.T.). Guest speaker will be Minister Willie Cunningham of First New Hope M.B. Church of Grenada. Everdale is located at 410 Calhoun Street, Water Valley.

On April 27, beginning at 3 p.m., the Spring Hill North Church will have an installation program for their new pastor. Guest speaker for this program will be Pastor Edward Williams from Springhill Baptist Church in Starkville.

Spring revival services will be held at Sanders Chapel Missionary Baptist Church April 27-29, beginning at 7 p.m. each evening. The guest speaker April 27 will be Evangelist Pamela Pomerlee. Speaking on April 29 will be Minister Stephanie Forest, and on April 29, bringing the message will be Minister KaKechan Logan.

“It’s revival time at Delay Road Baptist Church,” stated Rev. Donald Miller, pastor. Services will begin Monday night, April 27, and continue through Wednesday night, April 30, beginning at 7 p.m. each night. Evangelist will be Bro. James West. The Revival will be an old fashioned M&M Revival—M for Music and M for Ministry. Dewitt Kehoe will be playing the piano each night. On Sunday night Bro. West will play his bagpipes before the service. Each night there will also be specials and congregational singing. On Wednesday night, after service, The Valley Echoes will sing.

Oak Grove C.M.E. Church will sell fish plates on Friday, May 2, starting at 11 a.m. and continuing until 6 p.m. The plates will be $7 each. Plates will be delivered to plants and businesses, but there must be at least five or more orders to any destination. The plates will be sold at Miles Memorial C.M.E. Church’s Fellowship Hall. Saturday, May 3
There will be a benefit singing program for Chapel Hill M.B. Church in the city auditorium on the first Saturday night, May 3, beginning at 5:30 p.m. They are asking for a $5 donation at the door. The singing will feature: The Love Sisters; Chosen; Truly Blessed; Anointed Ones; Wings of Harmony; The Louis Sisters; and many more. For more information call Sis Pegues at 832-3141.

Sanders Chapel M. B. Church will have their Pre-Mother’s Day Program May 4th, beginning at 8:30 p.m. This will be their Morning Service, and Minister Geraldine Booker will be the Messenger for the Lord.

Sanders Chapel M. B. Church will host an Ordination Service for Brother Tommy Lynn Turner and Brother Jeffery Matthews on May 18, beginning at 2:30 p.m. Pastor Mitchell Steen will be the speaker.
Sunday, June 1
The Sanders Chapel M.B. Church Famiy cordially invites each and everyone to come out and worship with them during their Youth Day Program June 1, beginning at 2:30 p.m. The Everdale Youth Choir and Praise Team will be the special guests.
Chapel Hill M.B. Church will have their 3-Night Spring Revival Services May 7, 8, and 9, beginning at 7 p.m. each night. The guest speaker will be Rev. Cleveland Alexander from Water Valley, pastor of Pine Grove West Church. “Everyone is cordially invited to attend any, or all, of these services.
