Casey Baddley Led Horn Lake To District Championship

Casey Baddley, a sophomore at Horn Lake High School led the Lady Eagles to a District Championship in fast pitch softball. The Lady Eagles ended their regular season 20 and 2, and were ranked number two in the Clarion Ledger polls. Casey is the granddaughter of Mrs. James Knox Baddley and the great-granddaughter of Mrs. J.C. Pullen. On the mound, she had a record of 11 and 1, with a .30 ERA. She also excelled at the plate with a .627 batting average with two homeruns. Casey will be playing this summer with Water Valley resident Ashley Phillips on the Germantown Red Devils Gold. The Red Devils will travel to Vancouver, B.C. to compete in the Canada Cup. They will also have stops in Colorado, Louisana, Alabama, Indiana, Florida and Oklahoma, and in their hometown of Germantown.
