Sunday, May 10

 The pastor and members of Oak Grove C.M.E. Church would like to invite you to their Mother’s Day banquet on May 10, beginning at 6 p.m. This event will be held in the Miles Memorial Fellowship Hall. Tickets are $15 each.  Church members are also selling tickets for a 20-inch flat screen television for $3 each, which will also be given away that night.      

    The following night, May 11, which is Mother’s Day, Oak Grove C.M.E. Church will have a great speaker, Rev. Michael Gougis-Flowers, Apostle/Overseer and Founder/President of Let The Healing Begin…NOW: Outreach Ministries International, Inc. There will be a gospel singing Saturday, May 10, at 7 p.m. at New Life Fellowship in Oakland, featuring Masters Quartet from Booneville. New Life Fellowship is located on Hwy 32 – 1 1/2 miles east of Interstate 55 in Oakland, MS. For more information you may contact the church office at 623-0009.

    O’Tuckolofa Baptist Church will host a community-wide fish fry this Saturday evening, May 10, from 5-7 p.m. This event is sponsored by the Brotherhood, who will use the proceeds to fund the youth mission trip to Nashville. Plates will be $6 each and with take-out plates available.

  The pastor and members of Hopewell M.B. Church cordially invite everyone to come and worship as they celebrate their Mother’s Love Day, Sunday, May 11, beginning at 8:45 a.m. “We anticipate that your presence will greatly enhance the service and be a blessing to all,” stated Elder Lee V. Matthews, Sr., pastor, and the Hopewell Church Family.

May 12 – 14

    Revival Services will be held at Springhill North M.B. Church May 12 through 14, beginning at 7 p.m. nightly. Reverend Anthony Charles Barnes will deliver the divine message each night. The church is located at 600 Railroad Avenue in Water Valley.

Sunday, May 11

    Pastor Amos Sims and members of Bayson Chapel Missionary Baptist Church would like to extend an invitation to you to come and worship at their Mother’s Day Celebration Sunday, May 11. This will accompany their morning program.

    Minister Mildred Faye Polk of Nashville, Tennessee will be the speaker. “Happy Mother’s Day,” says Pastor Sims.

    The Bride By Grace ladies ministry will have a spaghetti Dinner May 16 from 5-7 p.m. Plates are $5 each and include spaghetti, green beans, potato salad, bread and dessert. Dinner will be served in the fellowship hall at Bride By Grace Church, formerly New Beginnings Building on Main Street in Water Valley.     Sanders Chapel M. B. Church will host an ordination service for Brother Tommy Lynn Turner and Brother Jeffery Matthews on May 18, beginning at 2:30 p.m. Pastor Mitchell Steen will be the speaker.

Sunday, June 1

  The Sanders Chapel M.B. Church family cordially invites everyone to come out and worship with them during their youth day program June 1, beginning at 2:30 p.m. The Everdale youth choir and praise team will be the special guests.
