Sunday, June 15

    Sanders Chapel will host its annual Father’s Day Program June 15, starting at 2:30 p.m. Pastor Eric Nelson will be the special guest, feeding the sheep of God the divine food of life. “Come and be blessed,” invites Pastor Mitchell Steen and Sis. Ann Matthews, Program Chairperson.

  Union Hill C.M.E. Church is having its annual Father’s Day Program, along with their morning worship service, on June 15, beginning at 11 a.m. The guest speaker will be Rev. Woodrow Daniel, III, “Each and everyone is welcome to come out and take part in this program,” states Rev. James Johnson, pastor, and the church family.

      The Mt. Moriah District Usher’s Federation and the annual luncheon will be held at the Mt. Grove M.B. Church, Highway 7 South, Coffeeville, the third Sunday in June (June 15), beginning at 3 p.m. “Everyone is invited to attend. All ushers are asked to attend and to please wear your uniforms,” says Usher Federation President Willie Baker.

    The Hopewell Missionary Baptist Church family invites the public to worship with them on June 15 as they honor all fathers, both spiritual and biological. This special program will be held, along with the regular 8:45 a.m. service. The church is located at 985 CR 169, Coffeeville. “We anticipate a glorious time in the Lord, so come,” says Elder Lee V. Matthews, Sr., pastor.

June 16 – 20

  Boys and girls, ages kindergarten through sixth grade, are invited to attend vacation Bible school at Adonai Church June 16-20, between 6 and 8:15 p.m. The theme for VBS at Adonai is “Cactus Canyon VBS”.

  Vacation Bible School will be held at New Providence M.B. Church June 16-20, from 6 until 8 p.m. each night. Classes will be held Monday through Thursday. Friday night will be Family Night, with guest speakers, Rev. Amos Sims, the District Moderator, and Minister T. K. Townsend, with words of encouragement for the youth. Pastor Townes encourages everyone to come and make this a fun filled week as we study God’s Word.

June 20-22

 Everyone is invited to the annual meeting at Yalobusha Primitive Baptist Church, Water Valley, the fourth weekend in June (June 20, 21, 22.). Services Friday night, June 20, and Saturday night, June 21, begin at 7 p.m. Sunday morning service begins at 10:30 a.m., and will be followed by lunch. Elder Ed Easley of Bruce is the invited minister.

    Elder James Hall serves as pastor of Yalobusha Primitive Baptist Church.

Saturday, June 21

    Massey Grove M.B. Church will have its Musicians Appreciation Program for Bro. Patrick Benson and Bro. Donnie Smith on Saturday, June 21, beginning at 7 p.m.

    “Please come out and help us show our love to our honorees on this occasion,” invites Pastor Lloyd V. Anderson, Sis. Sharonda Jones, secretary, and Bro. James Smith, sponsor.

Sunday, June 22

  A camp meeting style revival will be held at Community Full Gospel, located on Highway 32 East, Charleston, Sunday, June 22, through Wednesday, June 25, with Gerald Crabb, Betty Shaver and Still Blessed.   Pleasant Green Church of Water Valley will celebrate their pastor’s (Rev. Preston Gleeton) and wife’s tenth anniversary on Sunday, June 22.

    The afternoon program will begin at 3 p.m. The guest speaker will be Rev. Walter Newsom, Jr., pastor of Mount Gillion and Askew Grove churches, Everyone is invited to attend this special program.

June 23 – 26

Bayson Chapel M.B. Church will have their annual Church Revival June 23-26, beginning at 7 p.m. nightly. The speaker for the week will be Rev. Jerry Malone, pastor of Springfield M.B. Church in Abbeville. “Everyone is invited to come out and help us lift the name of Jesus during these revival services,” stated Rev. Amos Sims, pastor.

Sunday, July 6

    Everdale Missionary Baptist Church will have its annual homecoming celebration Sunday, July 6, beginning at 3 p.m. Reverend John Crowder, pastor of Spring Hill West MBC in Oxford, and his church family will be special guests for the day. “Come out and be blessed,” says Rev. Phillip Brackett, pastor.

    Sis. Dollie Ann Henderson serves as chairperson of the program and Sis. Sandra Woodard is church clerk. Everdale is located at 410 Calhoun Street in Water Valley.
