June 29 – July 1
Cornerstone Church will have revival services Sunday evening, June 29, through July 1. The Sunday night service will begin at 5 p.m. and the week night services start at 7 p.m.
Bro. Gerald Crabb, singer, songwriter, and evangelist, will be guest for these services. Bro. Crabb founded the well known Crabb Family Singing Group, has won several Dove Awards, and has had 22 number one songs. The church is located at 606 Wise St, Water Valley.
Saturday, July 5
Everdale Missionary Baptist Church will have a pre-homecoming welcome program on Saturday, July 5, beginning at 10:30 am. After the welcome program fish plates will be available for $5 each. The annual homecoming celebration is Sunday, July 6, beginning at 3 p.m. Revered John Crowder, pastor of Spring Hill West MBC in Oxford and his church family will be the special guest.
Rev. Phillip Brackett serves as pastor, Sister Dollie Ann Henderson is chairperson, and Sister Sandra Woodard is church clerk. Everdale is located at 410 Calhoun Street in Water Valley, Mississippi.
Sunday, July 6
Everdale Missionary Baptist Church will have its annual homecoming celebration Sunday, July 6, beginning at 3 p.m. Reverend John Crowder, pastor of Spring Hill West MBC in Oxford, and his church family will be special guests for the day. “Come out and be blessed,” says Rev. Phillip Brackett, pastor. Sis. Dollie Ann Henderson serves as chairperson of the program and Sis. Sandra Woodard is church clerk. Everdale is located at 410 Calhoun Street in Water Valley.
Sunday, July 13
Miles Memorial C.M.E. Church will have its Pastor and Wife Appreciation Program Sunday, July 13, beginning at 3 p.m. Minister Rafaele Robinson will be the guest speaker for the 11 a.m. morning worship service. Rev. Willie Hoey, pastor of Pleasant Hill and Robert Chapel will be the guest speaker for the three p.m. service. Lunch will be served from 1 until 2:30 p.m.
Everyone is invited to come out and be a part of this special program as we honor our pastor and his wife, Rev. and Mrs. Adam Tyson,” stated the Miles Memorial Church family.
July 14 – 18
Vacation Bible School (VBS) will be held at Woodland Hills Baptist Church Monday through Friday, July 14-18, from 6 to 8:15 p.m. each evening. VBS theme this year is “Outrigger Island.” Classes, structures to help students surf and explore the Word of God, will be available for pre-school, grades 1-3, grades 4-6, and grades 7-12.
