July 20 – 23

    Bethel Baptist Church in Water Valley will hold its summer revival beginning July 20-23.  Dr. Gene Henderson of Brandon will be the guest evangelist.      Former Minister of Music, Bro. Steve Frederick, will lead in praise and worship.  Service time for Sunday will be 11 a.m. with pot luck dinner following, and evening services are at 6 p.m. on Sunday     

    On Monday through Wednesday, night services will begin at 7 p.m. Organizers extend an invitation to the public to join the revival at Bethel.

Wednesday, July 23

    The ladies at Bride By Grace are having a spaghetti lunch Wednesday, July 23, at the church, which is located at 407 North Main Street, in Water Valley. Plates will include spaghetti, green beans, potato salad, a roll and desert and will cost $5 each. Customers may eat in, pick-up, or have plates delivered in the Water Valley business area. July 20 – 24

    New Providence M.B. Church of Water Valley will have its revival services July 20-24, Sunday through Thursday, beginning at 7 p.m. nightly. Rev. Mitchell Steen, pastor of Sanders Chapel of Water Valley and Pleasant Grove, Coffeeville, will be the guest speaker.     

    “Everyone is invited to come out and be a part of these services,” stated Rev. Sidney Townes, pastor.

Saturday, July 26

    The Sylva Rena Baptist Church family invites the public to join them July 26, beginning at 6:30 p.m. for an awe-inspiring presentation of the crucifixion of Jesus Christ. This event will utilize a multimedia presentation, along with stage production, to present step-by-step just how Jesus Christ suffered and died on the cross. Dr. David Ball, a medical doctor in Batesville, uses his knowledge as a physician to present this breath-taking evangelistic drama for all to see.

    “All churches should bring people who need a life-changing experience,” stated Bro. Calvin Miller, pastor. No admission is required, but a love offering will be taken.

Tuesday, August 5

    SCC Women’s Ministry will begin the first Tuesday night of August, which is August 5, at 6 p.m. in Sanders Chapel Church, Water Valley.

    “We invite women of all ages to come and be a part of this ministry,” states Pastor Mitchell Steen, Chairperson, Sis. Lanell Steen, and Minister Geraldine Booker.
