Saturday, September 20

    There will be a gospel singing Saturday, September 20, beginning at 7 p.m. at New Life Fellowship in Oakland, featuring The Shadrix Trio. New Life Fellowship is located on Highway 32, one mile east of Interstate 55, near Oakland. Pastor Jerry W. Smith and all the church family extend an invitation for everyone to come and worship together. For more information, contact the church office at (662) 623-0009. A love offering will be taken.

    Hopewell Missionary Baptist Church, located at 985 CR 169, Coffeeville, will have its choir night September 20, beginning at 6 p.m.

    “It would be an honor to have you join us in our worship and praise experience, with selections from your choir,” stated Elder Lee V. Matthews, Sr. and the Hopewell Family. Soloists, groups and liturgical dancers are also welcome. Everyone is invited to attend.

Sunday, September 21

    Camp Ground Baptist Church will have its homecoming Sunday, September 21. Sunday School will begin at 10 a.m. Visiting Pastor, Bro. Ross Robertson, will lead the worship service at 11 a.m. After worship, there will be food and fellowship, followed by singing in the afternoon. Everyone is invited and we hope to see you there.

    Everdale Missionary Baptist Church will have its annual Mens and Womens Day Program on Sunday, September 21, beginning at 3 p.m. Rev. Roland Biggs, Associate Minister at Toby Tubby Church in Oxford, will be the guest speaker.

Sunday, September 28

    The youth department at Everdale Missionary Baptist Church will have a Fruit of the Spirit Program Sunday, September 28, beginning at 3 p.m. Sister Terri Barnes, Sister Patricia Campbell, Sister Carol Gray, Rev. Chadrick Jeffries, Dr. Rubert Morgan, Evangelist Pamela Pomerlee, Rev. Kenneth Rogers, Rev. Mitchell Steen, and Minster Lorraine Turner will exemplify the various components of the Fruit of the Spirit.

Sunday, October 5

    The pastor and members of Bayson Chapel M.B. Church extend an invitation to everyone to join them in celebrating their 54th Lord Acre and Harvest Program, on Sunday, October 5. The day will begin with Sunday School at 9:45 a.m., followed by morning worship service at 11 a.m. Lunch will be served and the evening program will follow at 2 p.m.         The special guest for the evening is Pastor Mark Connor of Mt. Zion Church in Sledge. “Please come out and join us in making this a glorious day to remember in Christ,” states Pastor Amos Sims.

Sunday, October 12

    Spring Hill North M.B. Church will celebrate its annual Women’s Day Program on Sunday, October 12, beginning at 3 p.m. Guest speaker will be Minister Fannie Blake Brown, associate minister at Spirit of Excellence. She will be accompanied by the Spirit of Excellence Choir. The Spring Hill Church family cordially invites everyone to come and help lift up the name of Jesus in praise and worship during this special program. “Come and be blessed,” said a church spokesperson.
