    Tillatoba Baptist Church will be having their Homecoming services Sunday, September 28 with Bro. Jason Fly, originally from Coffeeville, bringing our morning services. Sunday School will start at 9:45 a.m.and worship services at 11 a.m.so feel free to come join us.

    The youth department at Everdale Missionary Baptist Church will have a Fruit of the Spirit Program Sunday, September 28, beginning at 3 p.m. Sister Terri Barnes, Sister Patricia Campbell, Sister Carol Gray, Rev. Chadrick Jeffries, Dr. Rubert Morgan, Evangelist Pamela Pomerlee, Rev. Kenneth Rogers, Rev. Mitchell Steen, and Minster Lorraine Turner will exemplify the various components of the Fruit of the Spirit.

Saturday, October 11

    Hopewell M.B. Church is sponsoring a benefit program for their pastor, Elder Lee V. Matthews, Sr., on October 11, beginning at 6 p.m. The public is cordially invited to this blessed occasion, scheduled to take place in the Hopewell Church Worship Center, located at 985 CR 169 in Coffeeville. “It would be an honor to have you join us,” stated the Hopewell Church family. All choirs, soloists, groups, and liturgical dancers are welcome as well. “Come one, come all, and show love on this day to help where it is needed,” stated Ruthie White.

Sunday, October 12

    Reverend Sidney Townes, pastor of New Providence M. B. Church, located at 14129 Pope/Water Valley Road, will be honored by the congregation on October 12, for 16 years of outstanding service to the community as a pastor and leader.

    The day has been designated Pastor Appreciation Sunday. The special Sunday morning service at 11 a.m. will feature a message by Minister Bobby Hall and the focal point of the afternoon service at 3 p.m. will be a message by Reverend Cleveland Alexander. Lunch will be served. All activities are intended for the public.

    Miles Memorial CME Church will have its annual choir Day on Sunday, October 12, beginning at 3 p.m.

    “We are inviting all choirs, groups, soloists, and praise teams, to be a part of this special occasion, as we lift up the name of Jesus through songs and praise,” stated Sis. Cynthia Shegog, Choir President. Rev. Brian Davis serves as pastor at Miles Memorial Church.
