Saturday, Oct. 18
Pastor Michael Stephen and the Oak Grove C.M.E. Church family cordially invite you to attend their Men In Praise Program Saturday, October 18, beginning at 5 p.m. Special guests will be Stars of Faith of Holly Springs and the New Cavaliers of Olive Branch, and also a number of male choirs. “We are looking forward to seeing you there to help lift up the Lord Jesus in praises,” concluded Pastor Stephen.
The O’Tuckolofa Baptist Church will host a community-wide fish fry this Saturday evening, October 18, from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. This event is sponsored by the Brotherhood who will use the proceeds to help fund various projects throughout the year, including their Reedy Acres Christmas ministry. Plates will be $6 each and take-out plates will also be available. Pastor Daniel Dickerson invites everyone to come out for a great evening of food and fellowship.

A fall revival will be held at Everdale Missionary Baptist Church beginning Sunday, October 19, and ending Thursday, October 23, at 7 p.m. each night. Rev. Marcus Dudley of Moorse Chapel and his church family will be special guests.

Sanders Chapel Missionary Baptist Church will have its annual Choir Appreciation Day October 19, beginning at 3 p.m. “We are asking your choir to do an A and B selection,” says Sis. Ann Matthews, Chairperson. “We hope to see you for this joyous occasion,” concluded Pastor Mitchell Steen.

The annual homecoming will be held at Palestine Church on Sunday, October 19, with Bro. John Rhodes bringing the message. The service will begin at 11 a.m., with dinner served at noon. A sing-a-long will be held following lunch. Everyone is invited to attend. The church is located about three miles northeast of Water Valley.

First Presbyterian Church invites the public to homecoming this Sunday, October 19. Pastor Harold Sprayberry will bring the morning message, which will be followed immediately by a pot luck luncheon in the Education Building. After lunch there will be time for any comments or reminisces anyone would like to share. “Everyone is invited to join us as we mark our 165th year,” stated Barron Caulfield.
Oct. 19, 20 and 21
Andrew M.B. Church in Oakland, will have revival services October 19, 20 and 21. The Sunday evening service will begin at 6 p.m., with the Monday and Tuesday services starting at 7 p.m. Minister Antonio Kimble will be the evangelist. “Everyone is cordially invited to attend any or all of these services,” stated Pastor Sidney Townes
Sunday, Oct. 26
Harvest Day will be celebrated at Hopewell Missionary Baptist Church on October 26, beginning at 8:45 a.m., which is regular service time. Harvest is not only for food, but also for souls. Elder Lee V. Matthews, Sr. and the Hopewell family invite everyone to come and worship with them during this special program.

Members of the Pleasant Grove Church will have an appreciation celebration for Pastor and Mrs. Steen on Sunday, October 26.
“As we prepare to honor our pastor and his wife for their service to our congregation, we would like to request the honor of your presence as our guests,” said a church spokesman.
The morning begins with Sunday School at 10 a.m., and continues with Pastor John Keeler and Oak Grove as guests during morning worship at 11 a.m. Lunch will follow, and the day will climax at 2:30 p.m. with Pastor Phillip Brackett and Everdale Missionary Baptist Church as the afternoon guests.

Anointed Voices of Praise of Everdale MB Church will sponsor a praise and worship program Sunday, November 9, beginning at 3 p.m. All praise and worship teams are asked for an A and B selection.
