November 11 – 13

    Fall revival services will be held at Carr’s Chapel in Oakland on Nov. 11, 12, and 13, beginning at 7 p.m. each night. “When praises go up, blessings will come down. Come on out and join us in praise,” stated Pastor Rafaele Robinson.

November 14 – 16

    Pine Grove West Church will have a three-night revival November 14, 15, and 16. The services will begin at 7 p.m. each night. The speaker will be Pastor Ray from Mt. Olive. Pastor Cleveland Alexander and Bro. Ranzy Tenner, Trustee, cordially invite everyone to attend these services.

 Saturday, Nov. 15

    Members of Sanders Chapel Missionary Baptist Church invite the public to attend a banquet for their pastor, Rev. Mitchell Steen, and his wife on November 15, beginning at 6 p.m. The banquet will be held in the Everdale Building on Calhoun Street, Water Valley. Tickets are $8 for a single person and $15 for couples. Dress code is semi-formal (no jeans and t-shirts). For more information, contact Sister Ann Matthews at (662) 675-9437.

Sunday, Nov. 16

    St. Andrews M.B. Church of Oakland is having its 16-year Pastor Appreciation Celebration on Nov. 16. The morning service, with Rev. Leo Coffey as speaker, will begin at 11 a.m. At the 2:30 p.m. service, the guest speaker will be Rev. J. C. Hentz of Mt. Grove M.B. Church of Coffeeville. He will be accompanied by his church family. Rev. Sidney Townes serves as pastor of St. Andrews Church. “Your support of these services will be appreciated,” stated Sis Veterine Bynum, secretary.

    Green Goshen C.M.E. Church will have its Harvest Day Program Sunday, Nov. 16, beginning at 2 p.m. Rev. Brian Davis, pastor of Miles C.M.E. Church, will deliver the message. Pastor Cherodrick Jeffries and the Green Goshen Church Family cordially invite the public to attend this special service.

    Members of Sanders Chapel M.B. Church invite the public to attend their Pastor and Wife Anniversary Program on November 16. The speaker for the morning worship, beginning at 8:35 a.m., will be Minister Geraldine Booker of Sanders Chapel. Lunch will be served starting at noon. “We will climax the day with an afternoon service with Pastor Richard Brown of the New Hope Baptist Church of Batesville, as guest speaker. He will be accompanied by his church family,” concluded Minister Booker. Mitchell Steen serves as pastor at Sanders Chapel.

    The Mt. Moriah Usher Federation will be held in Mt. Grove M.B. Church the third Sunday, Nov. 16, beginning at 3 p.m. Minister Woodrow Daniel will bring the message. “All ushers are asked to attend and everyone is invited,” stated Willie Baker, President.

    Hopewell M.B. Church will celebrate its 126th anniversary on Nov. 16, beginning with morning services at 11 a.m. Rev. Lawrence Matthews will deliver the morning message. Lunch will be served. The 2:30 p.m. guest speaker will be Rev. Amos Sims of Bayson Chapel M.B. Church, Water Valley. His church family will also be guests. “We encourage your participation in our efforts,” stated Rev. Lawrence Matthews, Interim Pastor and the Hopewell Church Family.

    Zion Grove Church is having its pastor and wife Anniversary Program on November 16. The speaker for the 11 a.m. morning service will be Pastor Calvin Young from Oxford.. The speaker for the  2:30 afternoon service., will be pastor William Jones from Coffeeville. Rev. Cleveland Alexander serves as pastor of the Zion Grove Church. “ Our church family invites everyone to attend these special services,” states Bro. Ramzy Tenner, Trustee.

    Everdale Baptist Church invites everyone to attend the celebration program for their Pastor and Wife’s Anniversary on November 16, beginning at 3 p.m. Dr. Jerry Malone and his choir from Springfield Baptist Church in Oxford will be the special guests for the evening. Lunch will be served. This program is sponsored by the Everdale Pastor’s Aide Committee. Rev. Phillip Brackett is pastor of the church.

Spring Hill North Baptist Church will be celebrate the Thanksgiving holiday with a three-night Thanks Revival Nov. 24-26, beginning at 7 p.m. nightly. The evangelist will be: Monday night, Rev. Jerimanique Mitchell from Hurley Chapel, Grenada; Tuesday night, Rev. James Howell from Bethelhem Baptist, Faulkner; and Wednesday, Rev. Sammy Townes from Pilgrim Rest Baptist, Greenwood. “Everyone is invited, just come and be blessed,” says Deacon Cornelious Hairston, Chairman of the Deacon Board.
