The Spring Hill North Youth Department will have its first annual “Joy To the World —Youth Celebration” Sunday, December 21, beginning at 6 p.m. Choirs and praise teams are requested to participate by doing an A and B selection of your choice.
“We are excited about Christ and His plans for all of us. We will be looking forward to sending up praises with our brothers and sisters in Christ on this day, so please come out and “represent” for our Father who deserves all the praise and the glory,” says Brenda Campbell, Youth Director, and Shirley Toles, sponsor. The church is located at 600 Railroad Avenue in Water Valley.

Pastor Loyd Walton, Jr. and the New Jerusalem COGIC family would like to wish you a happy and blessed Christmas. They are requesting your presence as they celebrate the glorious birth of our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ. This celebration, “Jesus is the Reason for the Season,” will begin at 5 a.m. Christmas morning. “For unto us a Child is born, unto us a Son is given: and His name shall be called Wonderful, Counselor, The Mighty God, The Everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.” Isaiah 9:6. “Come and be blessed of the Lord,” says Pastor Walton and the church family. Wednesday, Dec. 31
Brusher Fork Church will have a watch night meeting December 31, beginning at 9 p.m. The speaker will be Rev. J. C. Hentz, pastor of Mt. Grove M.B. Church of Coffeeville. The church is located at 51 Carpenter Road, Grenada. Refreshments will be served before the service. “Everyone is invited to attend this special service,” says Pastor B. B. Brooks.

Sanders Chapel M.B. Church will have their first watch night service on December 31, beginning at 9 p.m. The church’s pastor, Rev. Mitchell Steen, will bring the message for the night. There will also be a praise and worship service, with some uplifting songs. “We look forward to seeing you for this occasion,” states Pastor Steen. The church is located at 206 CR 220, Water Valley.

New Providence M.B. Church will have a watch meeting service on December 31, from 10 -12 p.m. Rev. Greg Henderson, pastor of Pleasant Grove First Baptist Church, Gore Springs, and the church choir will be special guests. “Everyone is invited to come and give a testimony of God’s goodness as we celebrate the ending of 2008,” states Rev. Sidney Townes.
