  The pastor and members of Pine Grove M.B. Church invite you to come and worship with them on February 22, beginning at 2:30 p.m. in their “Great Women of the Bible” program. “Come and bring a friend and enjoy the program. Hope to see you there,” stated Rev. Cleveland Alexander, pastor.

    An old-fashioned day celebration is scheduled at Shiloh Baptist Church, Big Creek on Sunday, February 22, beginning at 10:30 am. This day will be complete with bonnets and overalls for those who wish to participate.

    Dress is optional and you do not have to be a member to attend.  The day will begin with old fashion singing the old timey way. Local groups will also be singing ole time favorites, complete with banjo picking, fiddle playing and good ole fashion preaching will make this day complete. The day’s events also include horse and buggy rides, and old fashion games. A covered dish meal will follow the morning worship service.

    The Water Valley Assembly of God will host a special service on Sunday, Feb. 22, at 10:30 a.m. The special singing and speaking will be provided by Veronica C. Raney and Rev. Barbara Searcy.     Springhill North M.B. Church will have its annual Black History Program February 22, beginning at 3 p.m. The guest speaker will be Elder Joey Cooley of Mount Pleasant Baptist Church, Duck Hill. The program is sponsored by the youth department. “Everyone is invited to attend,” stated Bro. Cornelious Hairston, Chairman of the Deacon Board.

  Chapel Hill M.B. Church will sponsor a benefit program February 28, beginning at 7 p.m. “The church family would like to invite everyone to attend this benefit,” stated Bro. Claud Freeman, Chairman of Deacons.
