Magnolia Youth League Hosts Sign Up For Softball-Baseball
Youth, ages 3-15, will be signing up for the Magnolia Youth League softball-baseball program. Sign-Up dates will be February 21, 28, and March 7, from 8 a.m. to noon each day. Prices are $45 for the first child, $40 for the second child, and $35 for all remaining children in a family. “If you are interested in playing, come sign-up,” states Jeff Bynum and Darnell Vaughn. Titans Begin Football Registration

Childcare Distance Training Begins Thursday
The Yalobusha County Extension Service will open its site for the next Childcare Distance Trainings, with the first training scheduled on Thursday, February 19. This class is entitled: Your Young Child: Learning to Say Goodbye/Separation Anxiety. The last training of this month will be Tuesday, February 24th, and is entitled: ELG: Language, Vocabulary, and Literacy Development for 3 and 4 year old Children.
These trainings will be held at the Yalobusha County Multipurpose Building from 6:15 – 8:15 pm. They are free services and provide contact hours for childcare providers. Extension Services Schedules ServSafe Food Certification Class
ServSafe Food Certification Class will be taught March 18 and 19 from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m. The certification exam will start at 9 a.m. on March 20th. The class will be held at the Yalobusha County Extension Service in Coffeeville. Cost of the course is $125. The deadline to register is March 4, and the class is limited to 20 people. Water Valley Class of 1989 Plans 20-Year Reunion Planning Meeting
The Water Valley High School Class of 1989 will hold its 20-year reunion planning meeting on Saturday, March 7, beginning at 5 p.m., in the Central Office Building, located at Water Valley High School. All ‘89 graduates are asked to attend this meeting.
