Track Teams Compete At New Albany Track Meet

    The Water Valley Blue Devils finished second in the New Albany Track Meet, held Friday, April 3. The girls finished in 6th place.

  Results of the field events for the boys were: Shot Put, 1st, J. J. Woodard, and 5th, Marricao Hages; Discuss, 3rd, J. J. Woodard, and 5th, Dalmion Pollard;  Long Jump, 5th Erick Buckley; Triple Jump, 4th, Torrey Horton; High Jump, 1st, Travis Toles; 100m Dash, 5th, Erick Buckley; 4×2 Relay, 1st, D. C. Logan, Erick Buckley, Corey Carr, Laquinton Horton; 1600m Run, 2nd, Tevon Coleman; 4×1 Relay, 2nd, D. C. Logan, Torrey Horton, Zently Allen, Eric Buckley; 400m Dash, 1st, Laquinton Horton, 5th, C. J. Jackson; 300m Hurdles, 1st, Travis Toles; 200m Dash, 1st, Laquinton Horton; 4×4 Relay, 1st, Travis Toles, Torrey Horton, D. C. Logan, Laquinton Horton.

  Girls results were: Shot Put, 2nd, V. V. Woodard; Discuss, 1st, V. V. Woodard; Tripple Jump, 5th Judy Bound; 100m Dash, 4th, Sahnieec Robinson.

  The track teams will travel to Charleston April 6 and to New April 9.
