June 15 – 19
Vacation Bible school will be held at New Providence M.B. Church June 15 – 19, from 6 until 8 p.m. each night. Classes will be held Monday through Thursday. Friday night will be family night. Pastor Sidney Townes encourages everyone to come and make this a great week studying God’s word.
Saturday, June 20
Massey Grove M.B. Church, 42 CR 20, Oakland, will have their Spring Sun Fest June 20, beginning at 8:30 a.m. in the Oakland Elementary School. There will be food, games and prizes. Contact Sharonda Jones at 589-0040, for booth information.
Sunday, June 21
The Sanders Chapel M.B. Church family invites everyone to attend their Father’s Day Program on June 21, beginning at 3 p.m. Associate Pastor Ed Garrison of Pine Grove East will be the guest speaker. The Pine Grove East Church family will also be special guests.
“We are looking forward to seeing you for this wonderful day of praise and worship of our heavenly Father, and to give recognition to all fathers present,” stated Pastor Mitchell Steen. The program committee is Bro. Curtis Matthews and Sis. Ann Matthews.

Pastor Lawrence Matthews and the Hopewell Missionary Baptist Church family are celebrating Father’s Day on June 21, beginning at 8:45 a.m., regular service time. “We invite you to worship with us on this great occasion. It will be a blessing and an honor to have you join us,” stated Pastor Matthews. The church is located at 985 CR 169, Coffeeville.

Pine Flat Church in Lafayette County will hold its annual third Sunday Singing and Memorial Day Sunday, June 21. “Come, bring a light lunch, and let’s hear those voices,” invites Ruby Taylor.
Woodland Hills Baptist Church will have its Father’s Day Service during the morning worship service, which begins at 10:30 a.m. There will be special music and a Father’s Day Message by Rev. Ken Izzard, pastor. This will be the only service of the day. “Everyone is invited to worship with us during the worship hour and in Sunday School, which begins at 9:30 a.m.,” invites Bro. Izzard.
June 26-28
Everyone is invited to attend the annual meeting at Yalobusha Primitive Baptist Church, Water Valley, the fourth weekend in June (June 26, 27, 28). Services on Friday night, June 26, and Saturday, June 27, begin at 7 p.m. Sunday morning the service begins at 10:30 a.m. This will be followed by lunch. Elder Jessie Phillips is the invited minister. Elder James Hall serves as pastor of Yalobusha Primitive Baptist Church.
Saturday, June 28
Pleasant Green Baptist Church of Water Valley will celebrate its pastor’s 11th anniversary on Sunday, June 28, at 2:30 p.m. The guest for the afternoon program will be United Baptist Church from Coffeeville and Rev. Barney Martin will be the guest speaker. Rev. Preston Gleeton invites everyone to attend.

Sanders Chapel Women’s Ministry would like to invite women of all ages to come out to their programs every first and third Monday. The programs begin at 6 p.m. Program sponsors are Sis. Lanell Steen and Minister Geraldine Booker.
