Car Wash Benefits Softball Teams
The 17th Annual Ladies and Men’s Softball Teams Car Wash and Wax Specials will be held this Saturday, June 27, from 9 a.m.-5 p.m. at Water Valley Regions Bank. To have your vehicle washed, vacuumed and tires washed will cost $7. A wax job will be $25 for cars and small trucks. For double cabs and vans, a wax job will be $35.
You can bring and leave your vehicle or call (473-2287) in advance for it to be picked up. “Have the cleanest vehicle for the upcoming Fourth of July Holiday,” says Coach Freddie Folson.
Football Team Offers Old Jerseys
The Water Valley High School football team is currently selling the Blue Game Jerseys worn from 2004 to 2008. Coaches have many numbers available and are opening this sale up to the public. The game jerseys are being sold at the discounted rate of $30.
All proceeds go toward the purchase of new Home uniforms for 2009 and 2010. If interested, please contact Coach Brad Embry or Coach Richard Russo at 473-1141.
Booster Club Announces Meeting
The Water Valley Football Booster Club will have a meeting on Monday, June 29, beginning at 6 p.m., in the Community Room at Mechanics Bank.
“Please come and join us as we begin to prepare for the upcoming football season. Your presence will be greatly appreciated,” states Don Larson, president.
