Cotton States Baseball League Action

The BNA Bank CSBL North had a clean sweep against CSBL South teams on Saturday.  In New Albany, the Tallahatchie Rascals topped the PSA Dodgers 10-1 in game one while the North Delta Dealers made it two in a row with a 14-1 win over the Dodgers in game two. 

Dealers Brandon Hall and Tank Hervey combined for the 1st ever Cotton States League no-hitter in the second game of the twin bill.  The Dodgers scored their lone run on a wild pitch after three walks in the 7th before North Delta closed the deal.  Box scores are available now on this web site.

While the Rascals and Dealers were claiming victories at home, the Tupelo Thunder went on the road to Smith-Wills Stadium in Jackson and swept the PSA Padres 8-4 and 6-2.
