Everdale Baptist Church will celebrate its 39th annual Homecoming on July 5, beginning at 3 p.m. Rev. Lloyd Anderson of Massey Grove, in Oakland, will be the guest speaker. “Everyone is invited to attend this special service,” reports Rev. Phillip Brackett, pastor.

Sanders Chapel M.B. Church will celebrate its church anniversary and homecoming on Sunday, July 5, beginning at 2:30 p.m. Pastor Curtis McClain of the Sweet Home M.B. Church in Duck Hill will deliver the divine message.

Vacation Bible school will be held at Adonai Church Monday, July 6, through Friday, July 10, from 6 to 8:30 p.m. each night. The theme of this year’s VBS is “Truth Trek.”
Sunday, July 12
Friendship Baptist Church will host a Puppet Show on July 12, beginning at 5 p.m. Mount Comfort Baptist Drama Team from Bruce will present this program. “This is something you don’t want to miss. Everyone is welcome,” stated Bro. Bill Forsyth, pastor. A love offering will be taken. “This will be a blessing to all ages,” concluded Bro. Forsyth.
July 13 – 17
Pleasant Green Baptist Church of Water Valley will have their annual revival services, starting on Monday night, July 13. Services will continue through July 17, beginning at 7 p.m. nightly. Rev. Jacob Hentz, pastor of Mount Grove Baptist Church, will be the evangelist. Pastor Preston Gleeton invites each and everyone to attend.

Vacation Bible School will be held at Woodland Hills Baptist Church Monday, July 13 through Friday, July 17, from 6-8:30 p.m. each night. Classes will be Pre-K and Kindergarten; Grades 1-3; Grades 4-6; and Grades 7-8. The theme of the school is “Boomerang Express,” with the emphasis, It all comes back to Jesus. First United Pentecostal Church has scheduled a revival with Bro. Daniel “Slick” Ballinger starting Friday, July 17 and continuing through Sunday, July 19. Slick will perform at 7 p.m. on Friday and Saturday and at 10 a.m. and 6 p.m. on Sunday.
“We would like everybody to come out and hear this extremely talented young musician,” invites Pastor Charles Compton.
July 19 -23
Revival services will be held at New Providence M.B. Church from Sunday-Thursday, July 19-23, beginning at 7 p.m. each night. The guest speaker for this event will be Rev. Mitchell Steen, pastor of Sanders Chapel M.B. Church in Water Valley and Pleasant Grove M.B. Church in Coffeeville. “Everyone is invited to come and help praise the Word of God,” stated Rev. Sidney Townes, pastor.
Saturday, July 25
Martin Street Church of Christ in Water Valley will have a one-day vacation Bible school on Saturday, July 25, from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. The following Sunday, July 26, the church will begin a gospel meeting, with Bro. Brian Ayers of Memphis doing the preaching.
There will be dinner at the church at 1:30 p.m. and the gospel meeting will begin that afternoon at 3 p.m. Monday-Wednesday, services will begin at 7:30 each night. Everyone is welcome to come hear this young evangelist preach God’s word, neither adding or taking away from what the Bible says. “We hope to see you Sunday and then the following Monday-Wednesday,” states Ruth CF Goodman.
