Sarepta Baptist Church, located on Highway 9, north of Bruce, will host a gospel singing Saturday, July 25, beginning at 6 p.m. Featured will be the Moorheads of Monkeys Eyebrow, Kentucky, and the Masters Quartet of Booneville. Keith Benefield is the host pastor.

The youth department at Spring Hill North M.B. Church will have a car wash Saturday, July 25, from 7 a.m.-1 p.m., at Renasant Bank.
Sunday, July 26
The Moorheads of Monkeys Eyebrow, Kentucky, will be in concert at the North Corinth Baptist Church in Corinth Sunday, July 26, beginning at 10 a.m. The group will also perform in the Harmony Baptist Church at Walnut at 6:45 p.m. on this same date.
July 26 – 31
Revival services will be held at Drivers Flat Baptist Church July 26-31. Sunday morning Homecoming Services will begin at 10 a.m., with special music by the David Tero Family of Clinton, La. Worship will follow with Evangelist Craig Church from Millers Creek, North Carolina. Lunch will be served after the morning service and there will be an afternoon service. Services will be held at 7 p.m. Monday through Friday evening. Everyone is invited to attend any, or all, of these services.
Friday, July 31
Carnation Baptist Church, located in Okolona, will have a gospel concert Friday, July 31, beginning at 7 p.m. Featured will be the Masters Quartet of Booneville, and Paul’s Journey (formerly the Relations Quartet) of Houston, Texas. Everyone is invited. Truman Carter serves as pastor at the church.

A fish fry will be held Friday, July 31, at the Everdale C.L.C. Building, located at 410 Calhoun Street. This event is to help raise money for disaster relief. The church also schedules a recovery meeting every Thursday, beginning at 6 p.m., in the Everdale C.L.C. Building, located at 410 Calhoun Street.
Saturday, August 1
A singing and spaghetti benefit will be held at Wray’s Chapel Church of God Saturday, August 1. Serving will begin at 5:30 p.m. and the singing will start at 7. Plates will be $5 each and include spaghetti, cole slaw, green beans, bread and dessert. Tea is included on the dine-in plates. This is a fundraiser to offset restroom remodeling expenses at the church and also to add a storage facility. All donations will be greatly appreciated.
Singing will be the Hill family and a love offering will be taken for them.

Mt. Moriah District Meets July 27 – Aug.1
The 101st Annual Session of the Mount Moriah District Baptist Association will be held July 27-August 1, in the Association Building, located at 3657 CR 211, Coffeeville. The theme for this year’s session is “Fulfilling the Great Commission”, Matthew 18:19-20.
There will be afternoon classes held Tuesday through Friday, 2-4 p.m. for men, women, young adults and youth. Classes are: Introduction of the Old Testament; Creative Ways of Teaching; Teaching Youth Stewardship; Youth at Worship; History of Baptists; Theology of the Early Church; Discovering Your Spiritual Gifts; Developing Literacy Skills; and Do’s and Taboos of Public Speaking.
Highlights of the week include: the District Youth Night on Monday at 7 p.m., which will feature a musical play, “I Fall Down, but I shall Rise”, written by Dr. Eugne Whiting; the District Welcome Program on Tuesday at 6:15 p.m.; the Choir Convention on Wednesday at 6:30 p.m.; and the Moderator’s Hour on Thursday at 6 p.m.
“The public is encouraged to attend,” stated Rev. Amos Sims, moderator, and Deacon Lincoln Shields, executive secretary.
