Members of the Water Valley Modern Woodmen of America Camp will sponsor a fund-raiser September 26 to benefit Lady Blue Devil Fast Pitch Softball.
Plans for the fund-raiser include Catfish Dinner Plates at the Lions Club Depot Building for $5 each. The money raised will be matched by Modern Woodmen’s home office, up to $2,500, through the fraternal benefit society’s Matching Fund program and will be used to complete building the softball field.
The Matching Fund program offers Modern Woodmen members nationwide the chance to show their support of a community cause, organization or individual in need by partnering with community organizations and hold fund-raisers. These fund-raising projects contribute more than $6 million to community needs nationwide each year.
For more information about how you can contribute to this fund-raising event, contact Roy Vance at (662) 473-3439.
