September 8 – 10

  Spring Hill North M.B. Church will have a three-night revival September 8-10, beginning at 7 p.m. nightly. The speaker for all three nights will be Pastor Charles Bond from Columbus, Ohio. “Please come out and be blessed,” invites Pastor Bruce E. Paige, Jr.

Sunday, September 13

  The Music Ministry, along with Pastor Steen and the entire Pleasant Grove Church family, invites the public to attend their Musician’s Appreciation Celebration on Sunday, September 13, beginning at 3:30 p.m. “As we honor the individuals who provide the soundtracks to our worship and praise, we invite everyone to enhance the celebration by rendering selections that the Spirit leads you to choose, or simply by being present to show your love and support,” reports Rev. Steen. Pleasant Grove is located on Highway 7 South in Coffeeville.

    Parrish Grove M.B. Church of Oakland will celebrate its pastor’s and wife’s third appreciation on the second Sunday in September (September 13th) beginning at 2:30 p.m. Rev. Grand McKinney, Jr. is pastor of the church. Rev. Amos Sims and the Bayson Chapel Church family will be special guests.     “Everyone is invited to attend this special service,” stated Secretary Linda Clark.

    The annual Men’s and Women’s day program will be held at Everdale Missionary Baptist Church Sunday, September 13, beginning at 3 p.m. Rev. Cleveland Alexander, pastor of Pine Grove West, and his church family will be special guests. Deacon Willie Pulley is chairperson of this program. Pastor Phillip Bracket and the Everdale Church Family cordially invite everyone to attend this special service. The church is located at 410 Calhoun St., Water Valley.

 The Bayson Chapel Church family would like to invite everyone to come and help them honor their seniors at their annual senior citizen program. This will be held Sunday, September 13, beginning at 11 a.m. “Our own beloved Pastor Amos Sims will be the speaker for the hour,” stated Ora Lee Phillips.

Sunday, September 20

    Camp Ground Baptist Church will have Homecoming September 20. Bro. David Ross invites everyone to come and enjoy this time with the church family. The speaker will be Bro. Michael Callahand, with Betty Appleton as pianist and Paul Phillips, guitarist. Lunch will be served after the morning service.

  Chapel Hill will have their annual choir day and Musicians Appreciation Sunday, September 20, beginning at 3 p.m. All church choirs are welcome and everyone is invited to attend.

    Pastor Eddie Goliday and the Clear Creek Church family invite everyone to help celebrate their annual choir day on Sunday, September 20, beginning at 3 p.m. “Bring your family and friends to help celebrate Jesus through the ministry of music,” invites Pastor Goliday.

Monday, September 21

  The Yalobusha Baptist Associational Fall Meeting will be held at Elam Baptist Church Monday, September 21, beginning at 7 p.m. Bro. Rick Glidewell will be the guest speaker.

September 21 – 25

  Spring Hill North M.B. Church will have a tent revival September 21-25, beginning at 7 p.m. nightly. The speaker for the week will be Rev. Bob Newton. “Come out and hear a word from the Lord,” says Pastor Bruce E. Paige, Jr.

Sunday, September 27

 Union Hill C.M.E. Church will have a singing program September 27, beginning at 3 p.m. “All churches and choirs are invited to attend,” stated Rev. James Johnson, pastor.

Saturday, October 3

    Gospel Tones of Water Valley will be sponsoring a “Singing Program” Saturday, October 3, beginning at 6:30 p.m. in the Chapel Hill Church. Guests will be the Gospel Warriors of Bruce and many more. Everyone is invited to attend.

Sunday, October 11

 Come celebrate 15 years of ministry and servcie with Pastor and Mrs. John Keeler on October 11, beginning at 2:30 p.m., at Oak Hill M.B. Church. Pastor Willie Love of Brick Academy and Mt. Zion Hardy will be the speaker for this event. Everyone is invited to come, be blessed, and be a blessing.
