• TEAM COMPARISONS: Water Valley averages 18.2 on offense, and gives up 11.8 on defense. Aberdeen averages 39.1 on offenses and gives up 12.7 on defense.

• NOTABLES: The Devils are 1-0 in the district after last weekends victory over Aberdeen, the first 1-0 start in district play since 2004. The first meeting between Water Valley and Aberdeen was in the 1990 Class 3A play-offs. The Devils won 23-8 to advance to the North-Half championship game. The Bulldogs are 0-2 in their visits to the Valley. A win over Aberdeen would put the Devils in the driver’s seat to claim the 2-3A title.
