Saturday, October 24
Oak Grove C.M.E. Church will have its Men in Praise Program Saturday, October 24, beginning at 6 p.m. The special guest of the night will be the Stars of Faith. On Sunday, October 25, beginning at 3 p.m. the church will have their first annual Male Chorus Day. The Male Chorus sponsors this program.
Activities continue at the church with fall revival services scheduled October 26 -28, beginning at 7 p.m. nightly. The speaker for these three nights will be Rev. Jerome Battle, pastor of Chapel Hill M.B. Church.

Sapepta Baptist Church will host a gospel concert Saturday night, October 24, beginning at 6 p.m. Featured will be the Southern Image Quartet of Tupelo and The Masters Quartet of Booneville. The church is located on Highway 9, nine miles north of Bruce.

The youth department of Miles Memorial C.M.E. Church will sponsor a rummage sale on Saturday, October 24, from 7 a.m. until 1 p.m. This event will be held in the church fellowship hall at 207 Simmons Street. Available will be clothing, accessories and household items. The youth will also have hotdogs and other snacks for sale.
Sunday, October 25
Minister Michael Phillips will preach his first sermon Sunday, October 25, beginning at 4 p.m. in Green Goshen C.M.E. Church. “Everyone is invited to come out and worship with us on this joyous occasion,” invites Rev. Cheordrick Jeffries, pastor of the church.
Pine Grove East M.B. Church invites the public to attend their installation program for their new pastor, Edrick Garrison, on Sunday, October 25. The morning service will begin at 11 a.m. with Pastor Hervey Garrison of Christ New Beginning. The evening service will begin at 3 p.m. with Pastor Amos Sims of Bayson Chapel. Lunch will be served.
October 25 – 29
Rocky Mount M.B. Church will have its annual fall revival beginning at 6 p.m. Sunday, October 25, and continuing through Thursday, October 29 at 7 p.m. Rev. Keith Howard from Oxford will bring the messages Sunday and Tuesday nights. Rev. George Forrest will bring the messages Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday nights.
October 26 – 30
Wray’s Chapel will have a Holiness Tent Revival October 26-30, beginning at 7 p.m. each night. Wray’s Chapel is located one-half mile south of Pope on Highway 51.
Rev. Lonnie T. Hill will preach and there will be lots of Holy Ghost anointed singing. The holiness message was preached in the same spot in 1949! Rev. Matt Hill, pastor of Wray’s Chapel, will bring the message.
Saturday, October 31
Everdale M.B. Church’s youth department will sponsor a Harvest Fest on Saturday, October 31, in the Everdale Christian Life Center. Activities begin at 6 p.m. and admission is $5. Activities include a hayride, marshmallow roast, tug of war, egg toss, and much more.

Lantrip Baptist Church, located on Highway 9, north of Bruce, will host a gospel concert Saturday, October 31, beginning at 6 p.m. Guest groups include Stronghold of Pontotoc and The Masters Quartet of Booneville. Bro. Robert Earl Alexander is the host pastor.
November 6 and 7
Oak Grove C.M.E. Church will ahve their first Women Conference Friday, November 6, beginning at 7 p.m. and Saturday, November 7, beginning at 10 a.m. The speaker will be Evangelist Bessie Mathis of Memphis.
“Please come and join us in this sprit filled event. We are asking for a $10 registration fee per person at the door. Please come and help us lift up the name of Jesus,” invites Rev. Michael Stephen Sr., pastor. This event is sponsored by First Lady Sandra Stephen and the women ministry of Oak Grove.
Saturday, November 7
The Sanders Chapel M.B. Church family invites the public to attend their pastor’s and wife’s anniversary celebration Saturday, November 7, beginning at 5 p.m. This will be a “casual event”, filled with fun, food, and fellowshp to celebrate three years of dedicated service of their pastor, Minister Mitchell Steen, and his lovely wife, Sis. Lanell Steen.
