Saturday, October 31

  Everdale M.B. Church’s youth department will sponsor a Harvest Fest on Saturday, October 31, in the Everdale Christian Life Center. Activities begin at 6 p.m. and admission is $5. Activities include a hayride, marshmallow roast, tug of war, egg toss, and much more.

    Lantrip Baptist Church, located on Highway 9, north of Bruce, will host a gospel concert Saturday, October 31, beginning at 6 p.m. Guest groups include Stronghold of Pontotoc and The Masters Quartet of Booneville. Bro. Robert Earl Alexander is the host pastor.

 A Women’s Conference, “How to Weather the Storm,” is scheduled Saturday, October 31, from 10 a.m. until 3:30 p.m. at New Life Ministry. Speakers will be Stacy Jones and Ethel McKinney. New Life Ministry is located at 10276 Kennedy Street, Coffeeville. Elder Leroy Harris is pastor and Sis. Debra Harris is coordinator of this event. For more information call (662) 473-7078.

  Miles Memorial C.M.E. Church will host a Halleluhjah Night on Saturday, October 31, from 5 to 7 p.m. There will be free food and games for all ages.

    The event will be held in the church fellowship hall at 207 Simmons Street. “Come out and join us for an evening of fun,” invites Rev. Brian Davis, Sr., pastor.

Sunday, November 1

    Brusher Fork M.B. Church will have its pastor’s and wife’s appreciation day November 1, beginning at 2:30 p.m. They will honor their pastor, Rev. B. B. Brooks, for 31 years of service. The church is located at Hwy. 51 and Carpenter Road, Grenada. Pastor Bruce Paige and the Spring Hill North M.B. Church Family of Water Valley will be special guests.

Sunday, November 1

    New Providence Missionary Baptist Church will have its annual Choir Day Program on Sunday, November 1, beginning at 3 p.m. All local choirs and groups are invited to take part in this program. “Come and help us lift up  our voices and sing on this special day,” says Rev. Sidney Townes, pastor, and Sis. Earline Hawkins, choir president.

November 6 and 7

    Oak Grove C.M.E. Church will have its first Women Conference Friday, November 6, beginning at 7 p.m. and Saturday, November 7, beginning at 10 a.m. The speaker will be Evangelist Bessie Mathis of Memphis.

  “Please come and join us in this sprit-filled event. We are asking for a $10 registration fee per person at the door. Please come and help us lift up the name of Jesus,” invites Rev. Michael Stephen Sr., pastor. This event is sponsored by First Lady Sandra Stephen and the woman’s ministry of Oak Grove.

Saturday, November 7

  The Sanders Chapel M.B. Church family invites the public to attend their pastor’s and wife’s anniversary celebration Saturday, November 7, beginning at 5 p.m.

     This will be a “casual event”, filled with fun, food, and fellowship to celebrate three years of dedicated service of their pastor, Minister Mitchell Steen, and his lovely wife, Sis. Lanell Steen.

Sunday, November 8

 Union Hill Church will have its annual Harvest Day program November 8, beginning at 2:30 p.m. Rev. Mitchell Steen of Sander’s Chapel and Pleasant Grove will be the guest speaker. He will be accompanied by his church families. “Everyone is invited to attend this special service,” invites Rev. James Johnson, pastor.

    The members of Everdale Missionary Baptist Church warmly invite you to their annual Pastor Love Day Program on Sunday, November 15, beginning at 3 p.m. Rev. Thomas Tillman, pastor of Jackson Chapel, Bruce, will be the guest speaker. Rev. Phillip Brackett is pastor of Everdale. “Come out and praise the name of the Lord during this program,” invites Sis. Katina Johnson, chairperson. The church is located at 410 Calhoun Street, Water Valley.
