First Christian Church Presents Cantata

The Water Valley community is invited to join the congregation of First Christian Church as we celebrate Jesus Christ this Christmas season!
This Sunday, December 20, at 6:30 p.m the adult choir will present the beautiful Christmas cantata, “Only Love.”  Come share with us in the most beautiful love story ever written, the love that God showed when He gave His only begotten Son, Jesus Christ to be our Savior.
The choir is under the direction of Mrs. Marilyn Blankenship and Mrs. Lou Ann Holt is the accompanist.  Mr. Jerry Holt will be narrating.  As a special feature our Children’s Choir, under the direction of Deniece Fowler, will be singing two special pieces.  This cantata will move our hearts and minds as we reflect on a story that only love could write.  A finger food fellowship will follow the cantata.

Then on Christmas Eve there will be a candlelight service at 6:30 p.m.  This brief, but beautiful service of Scripture readings, carol singing, special music, and a special Christmas message will draw us closer to the Christ of Christmas.
The church is located at North Main and South Court.  All are welcome!  For more information call Minister David Freeman at 473-2884.  O come let us adore Him, Christ, the Lord!
