The Water Valley Blue Devil baseball team will host Lafayette on Saturday.

WATER VALLEY – Saturday will be an action-packed day on the school’s ball fields as the Lady Devils fast pitch team will host Lafayette on their new field, followed by Blue Devil baseball games, also at home against Lafayette.
The girls’ games start first, as the junior varsity team hits the field at 10:30 a.m. The varsity game follows at 12:15.
The baseball team will take the field at 1 p.m., with the junior varsity team playing first. The varsity team will play at 3 p.m.
“This will be a great day for everyone to come out and support our home teams,” reported baseball mom, Missy Kimzey. Both teams have winning records – the softball team is 8 – 3 going into Thursday’s game against Byhalia.
The baseball team is 12-3. Tuesday, they hosted Mooreville. The Troopers defeated the Devils, 10-2.
“Don’t forget about the delicious food offered at the concession stands at both fields,” Kimzey reminded.
