The Spring Hill North M.B. Church Pastor Aid Committee is sponsoring a chitterling plate Friday and Saturday, April 16 and 17, from 10 a.m. until. Plates are $7 each and can be delivered. Call 473-2771 or 417-2849 to order.
Saturday, April 17
The annual Men’s and Women’ Day Program will be held at Mt. Grove Church on Saturday, April 17, beginning at 6:30 p.m. “We hope to have 50 women in white and 50 men in black,” stated Pastor Hentz. Minister Mitchell Steen and the Sanders Chapel Church Family will be special guests. “We are indeed looking forward to your participation in this service,” concluded Pastor Hentz.
Sunday, April 18
The pastor and members of Union Hill Church cordially invite everyone to attend their Family and Friends Day Program April 18, beginning at 2:30 p.m. The speaker for the program will be Rev. Michael Phillips of Green Goshen C.M.E. Church.

AGAPE Community Fellowship of Coffeeville will host a mission program on Sunday, April 18, beginning at 2:30 p.m. The guest speaker will be Rev. Judy Horton, pastor of Harris Chapel AME Zion in Water Valley. Pastor Marvin Horton invites you to join this service. For more information call 709-1610.
Goshen will host the annual spring homecoming Sunday, April 18, with services beginning at 11 a.m. There will be a potluck lunch after the morning service. Organizers are pleased to welcome back two very accomplished and dedicated groups, the “Cannanlanders” and “The Fishers of Men.” They will sing in the afternoon.
“Come out and worship with us, bring your favorite dish and enjoy an afternoon of some of the best southern gospel singing around,” invites Debbie Fly.

A Musicians Appreciation Program will be held at Chapel Hill M.B. Church Sunday, April 18, beginning at 3 p.m. The guest speaker for the evening service will be Rev. Mitchell Steen. With him will be the Sanders Chapel Church family.

Pleasant Grove Church in Coffeeville will have its spring Revival services April 18-22, beginning at 6 p.m. on Sunday, and at 7 p.m. nightly. Rev. Larry J. Hervey, pastor of the church, will deliver the word each night.
Guest ministers, who will facilitate, with their congregations accompanying them, include: Sunday, Minister Lester Watt and Burning Bush; Monday, Pastor Amos Sims and Bayson Chapel; Tuesday, Pastor E. Garrison and Pine Grove; Wednesday, Pastor J. C. Hentz and Mt. Grove; and Thursday, Pastor Larry Ware and Bethlehem.

Spring revival services will be held at Chapel Hill M.B. Church April 21, 22, and 23. Services will begin at 7 p.m. nightly. The guest speaker will be Rev. Grady McKinney, Jr. He will be accompanied by his Parrish Grove Church family from Oakland.

Saturday, April 24
Gospel Group, “Cedar Creek” will present their third program at Bethel Baptist Church on Saturday, April 24, beginning at 6 p.m. A love offering will be taken and a finger food fellowship will follow the program of music.
Members of the group include: the drummer, Michael Hall, son of Mr. and Mrs. Mickey Hall of Water Valley; and Wendell Lee, who in his early days was the keyboard person for the Sun Studio Backup Band. He played for many singers, including Elvis Presley and Jerry Lee Lewis. Now Mr. Lee says he plays for the Lord.

Sunday, April 25
The Union Hill Church family will honor their pastor, Rev. James Johnson, on the fourth Sunday in April during a Love Day Program. The program will begin at 3 p.m. and Rev. Adam Tyson of Oxford will be the guest speaker. The guest choir will be the Gospel 5 of Charleston.
First Assembly of God will have a singing April 25, starting at 10:30 a.m. Presenting the program will be Darrell and Tojuana Johnson from Moss Point.
