Sunday, May 30

    The House of Prayer Church of God in Christ will have its homecoming service Sunday, May 30, beginning at noon. The church is located at 811 Mill Street, Water Valley. The pastor, Elder Moses Wright, Sr., is asking all former members, current members, friends and family to come and be blessed in this service.

    Homecoming at Sylva Rena Baptist Church will be held Sunday, May 30. Everyone is cordially invited to attend this celebration. Morning worship begins at 10 a.m. and ends at noon. The speaker will be be Rev. Rusty Robertson. After worship service, everyone is invited to join the members in the family activity center for food, fun, and fellowship.

    At 1 p.m those attending will again assemble in the sanctuary, where Pastor Jimmy Hood of Oakland Baptist Church will sing and bless everyone’s heart with his program of gospel music. Make plans to join the Sylva Rena Church family on May 30.

  Adonai Church will have a fifth Sunday sing-in Sunday, May 30. “Come out and join us as we share the talents God has given us,”invites Pastor Roger Howell.

  Everdale Missionary Baptist Church will have a youth choir day program on Sunday, May 30, beginning at 3 p.m. All youth choirs are invited to attend.

Sunday, May 30

   The White, Hervey, Benson, Neely, Austin, Polk, Phillips, Johnson, and Jefferson families will gather at Bayson Chapel M.B. Church Sunday, May 30, for worship. Rev. John Wesley White, Jr. will bring the message. Rev. Amos Sims is pastor of the church, which is located at 1272 CR 431, Water Valley. Lunch will be served following the service.

May 31 – June 3

  Camp Ground Baptist Church invites cowboys and cowgirls, ages 4 to 12, to “Avalanche Ranch” for an exciting wild west Bible adventure beginning May 31 and continuing through June 3, from  5:30-8:30 p.m. each day.         “Wahoo! We look forward to seeing you there!” invites the  staff.

May 31 – June 4

    It’s vacation Bible school at Bethel Baptist Church, an experience like you’ve never experienced before! Children, age 4 years old through grade six, are admitted from May 31-June 4, from 1 to 4 p.m. each day.

  “Saddle up for Saddle Ridge Ranch! Set among the stunning vistas and wide-open spaces of Big Sky country, the ranch is a place where kids can ask questions and discover the answers found in God’s Word.         During their day at the ranch, kids will visit Worship Rally Valley and the Bible Study Bunkhouse. Around the ranch they will also experience crafts at Blazing Star Stables; missions at Firefly Cavern; music at Campfire Creek; recreation at Mustang Mountain; and snacks at Big Sky Grill,”states Katherine Jones, Director.

June 1-5

    Adonai Church invites all pre-school through sixth grade students to vacation Bible school scheduled June 1-5, from 6:30-8:30 p.m. The theme of VBS this year is “Saddle Ridge Ranch”.

Sunday, June 6

    The Blake Walker Band will be in concert at Adonai Church during their worship service June 6, beginning at 10:45 a.m. “Everyone is invited to attend this special service,” says Pastor Roger Howell

June 7 -11

    The first community vacation Bible school will convene June 7-11, beginning a 6:30 p.m. nightly at Bethlehem M.B. Church.

    “We have invited the pastors and members of Hopewell, Mt. Grove, Pleasant Grove and Spring Hill South Missionary Baptist Churches to join with us in hosting a community vacation Bible school,” reported Pastor Larry W. Ware.

Wednesday, June 19

  Hopewell M. B. Church will host its third mass choir summer concert, Jesus Rocks, June 19, from 6 p.m.-until in the Coffeeville High School auditorium.

    Along with the mass choir, special guests, Unified Praise of Grenada will also be on the program. All choirs, groups, soloists, praise teams, and dancers are cordially invited. “Come and be blessed and be a blessing,” invites Ruthie White.
