Sunday, October 3
Bayson Chapel Church will celebrate its 56th Lord Acre/ Harvest Program Sunday, October 3. Morning services will begin at 9:45 a.m. with Sunday School.
“At 11 a.m. our own beloved Pastor Amos Sims will be bringing the message,” stated the Bayson Chapel Church family.
Lunch will be served at 1:30 p.m. The evening service will begin at 2:30 p.m. with Pastor Larry Ware as special guest.

Moorse Chapel will celebrate its church anniversary October 3, with a program beginning at 3 p.m. Pastor Charles Brown and Greater Sims AME Zion Church will be the guests.
“Please join us as we celebrate 127 years, ‘Remembering the Struggle; Looking to The Harvest’,” states Elder Kevin D. Coakley, pastor.
October 3 – 6
Victory Baptist Church invites everyone to come and worship with them during their fall revival services. Pastor Hubert Quiller from Trinity Family Christian Worship, Savannah, Georgia, will be the speaker for the week. Services will be held October 3 through 6, nightly, starting at 7 p.m.
“Please join us for these services,” states Pastor Keith Howard. The church is located at 218 Frostland Drive, Water Valley.
Oct. 4 – 8
Wray’s Chapel presents “Down By The River Revival” October 4-8, beginning at 7 p.m. each night. Services will be held on Enid Lake at the Riverview Stage and picnic area. Get off I-55 at the Enid Lake Exit, get on the levee and take the first right, follow signs to Riverview. Rev. Lonnie T. Hill will be preaching Monday through Wednesday, and Rev. Matt Hill will bring the message on Thursday.
There will be a Friday night concert with recording artist, The Dunaways. Everyone is invited to attend. For more information call (662) 647-1458.
Saturday, Oct. 9
An old-fashioned church picnic will be held at Enid Dam October 9, beginning at 1 p.m. Everyone is invited to attend. It is wonderful for men, women, boys and girls to come together and fellowship.
“You are cordially invited to come and have a fun filled day in the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ,” says host Minister Michael Phillips. Those attending are asked to bring a dish of your choice.
“If there is anyone who would like to sing, act, praise or dance, please feel to do so, as long as it is pleasing to God,” says Pastor Cherodrick Jeffries. This event will be held at the lower end of the dam. Balloons will mark the destination.

Massey Grove Missionary Baptist Church will celebrate its Men Anniversary Program Saturday, October 9, beginning at 6 p.m. All solo, groups, and choirs are welcome.
“Everyone is invited to attend this special program,” says Pastor Lloyd V. Anderson. The church is located at 42 CR 20, Oakland.
Sunday, Oct. 10
The annual Lovejoy Church Harvest Supper will be held Sunday, October 10, beginning at 4 p.m. at the church in Panola County. All attending should bring a covered dish for a picnic on the grounds. Everyone is invited for an afternoon of worship, fellowship, and telling stories about families and old times.
Sunday, Oct. 10
Reverend Sidney Townes, pastor of the New Providence M.B. Church, located at 14129 Pope/Water Valley Road, will be honored by the congregation on October 10, for 19 years of outstanding service to the community as a pastor and leader. The day has been designated Pastor Appreciation Sunday.
The special Sunday morning service at 11 a.m. will feature a message by Minister Abduba Hervey and the afternoon service at 3 p.m. will feature a message by Reverend Mitchell Steen. Lunch will be served.
“All activities are intended for the public,” states Rev. Townes.
Sunday, Oct. 17
The officers and members of Spring Hill M.B. Church, Coffeeville, cordially invite everyone to attend their Pastor’s and Wife’s 51st Appreciation Program on Sunday, October 17, beginning at 2:30 p.m. Rev. Nick Reed, along with the Persimmon Hill Church family and Choir, will be special guests.
