• NOTABLES: With the win over Corinth, the Devils get their 10th victory of the season, tying the 1963 and 2000 seasons. Only the 1990 and 1996 teams have more wins. Water Valley & Ruleville Central both beat Independence during the regular season. This is the Tigers first post-season outing since 2007.
• PLAY-OFF NOTES: The Devils improve to 15-16 in post-season play. The 28-0 shut-out of Corinth is the first play-off shut-out since a 62-0 win over Mound Bayou RFK in 2003. Water Valley advances to the 2nd round of the play-offs for the second straight year. The winner will play the winner of the Charleston/Winona game on November 19th.
