Sunday, Jan. 16

The Mt. Moriah Usher Federation will meet Sunday, Jan. 16, at 3 p.m. at the Mt. Moriah Building in Coffeeville. Rev. Sue McClore will be the guest speaker. All area ushers are asked to dress out. All congregation members are also invited.

January 18 – 20

Pastor Larry J. Hervey and Pleasant Grove Missionary Baptist Church are pleased to announce the opening of the Pleasant Grove Christian Leadership School. The school is fully accredited by the Sunday School Publishing Board of the National Baptist Convention, USA, Inc. Pre-Registration is in progress, but on-site registration will be permitted. The school’s opening session and Christian Leadership Conference will convene Jan-uary 18-20, at 6 p.m. nightly.

The conference will include guest lecturers from surrounding counties and districts, as well as spirit-filled messengers following the instructional period.  Everyone is invited to listen, learn, and live life with greater understanding.

Wednesday, Jan. 19

First United Methodist Church will offer five adult classes as well as youth and children’s classes beginning Wed-nesday, January 19, at 6 p.m.  Meals will be served from 5 to 6 p.m.

 Wonderful Wednesday  classes include:  New Testament book of Ephesians, Rev. Barry Dicker-son; women’s Bible study, Julia Taylor; “Financial Peace,” Andi Eppes; “Fireproof your Marr-iage,” Mark McGavock; and art, Libby Kuchta.

Jan. 19-21

The pastor and members of the Smith Chapel M.B. Church invite everyone to their three night’s healing and deliverance services on Jan. 19-21, starting at 7 p.m. nightly.

Evangelist Lorraine Hale-Bryant of Muskogee, Okla., will be the guest speaker for these services. On the following Sun-day, Jan. 23, at 2:30 p.m. we will celebrate the 10th year appreciation of our Pastor and Mrs. Richard E. Smith. Pastor Mitchell Steen along with the Sanders Chapel Church family will be special. Food will be served following the service.
