Friday, Feb. 4

    The Yalobusha Baptist Association will sponsor a preaching conference Friday, February 4, beginning at 7 p.m., hosted by Oakland Baptist Church.

    The conference will continue at Hopewell Baptist Church on Saturday, February 5, beginning at 10 a.m.

  Everyone is invited to come and hear different pastors speak. If you plan to attend the Saturday conference and stay, a light lunch will be served. Please call the Association Office at (662) 675-8732 or Bro. David Ross at (662) 473-4155 if you plan to stay for lunch.

Sunday, Feb. 6

    The pastor and church family of Hopewell M.B. Church invite everyone to come and enjoy their black history celebration on February 6, beginning at 8:45 a.m.

    “Come and enjoy skits and hymns from days of old and have a halleluah good time in the Lord,” invites Minister Lawrence M. Matthews, pastor.

Tuesday, Feb. 8

 O’Tuckolofa Baptist Church will host the Y-Fest Prayer Meeting on Tuesday, February 8, beginning at 7 p.m. Commit yourself to praying and join us in prayer for Y-Fest.


    “Covering Mississippi in Prayer in 2011” will be held Tuesday, February 8. The prayer meetings will be held in Yalobusha County at the courthouses, with the program beginning at at noon in Water Valley and at 2 p.m. in Coffeeville.

    Dr. Jim Futral will be the guest speaker. Prayer Coordinators for Yalobusha Association are Bro. Hal Clark and Mrs. Marie Shields. Shirley Berry will be leading in praise and worship. Everyone is invited to attend.

Saturday, Feb. 12

 The pastor and members of Sanders Chapel  M.B. Church would like to cordially invite all adults to “An Evening with the Steen.”

    This event will be held Saturday, February 12, from 5 until 7 p.m. in the Sanders Chapel Family Life Center. Pastor and Mrs. Larry Ware of Bethlehem M.B. Church will be the guest speakers for this special occasion. Food will be served. Tickets for couples cost $8 and individual tickets are $5.
