Thursday, Feb. 10

 The Yalobusha Baptist Asso-ciational Executive Board will meet on Thursday, February 10, beginning at 7 p.m. in the Associational Building at Coffeeville.

Saturday, Feb. 12

 The pastor and members of Sanders Chapel  M.B. Church would like to cordially invite all adults to “An Evening with the Steens.”

    This event will be held Saturday, February 12, from 5 until 7 p.m. in the Sanders Chapel Family Life Center. Food will be served. Tickets for couples cost $8 and individual tickets are $5.


  The Everdale M.B. Church Youth Department will have a Valentine Ball February 12, beginning at 6 p.m., in the CLS Building, located next to the church. Tickets are $5 for single, and $8 for couples. Refreshments will be served.

Sunday, Feb. 13

  The Pine Grove West family invites everyone to come and share with them on Sunday, February 13, beginning at 2:30 p.m., their Black History Program. The guest speaker will be Minister Lewis from Sardis.


  Everdale M.B. Church will have its Black History Program February 13, beginning at 3 p.m. Rev. Jerome Battle, pastor of Chapel Hill M.B. Church and Mt. Olivet Church, will bring the message.

    Chapel Hill’s choir, along with the deacon ministry of Green Goshen, will offer praise in song and prayer. Minister Alisa Thompson of West Springhill M.B. Church will be the mistress of ceremony. “Come out and be blessed,” invites Rev. Phillip Brackett, pastor.

Feb. 15-17

     The second session of the Pleasant Grove Christian Leadership School and Christian Leadership Conference will convene February 15-17 at 6 p.m. nightly in the Pleasant Grove Church on Highway 7, Coffeeville.

  The conference will include guest lecturers from surrounding counties and districts, as well as spirit-filled messengers following the instructional period. Even if you are not enrolled in courses, you are welcome to attend the worship hour, which begins at 7:15 p.m.

  Those still interested in the course and enrollment information may contact Dean Marjorie Moore.

Feb. 19 – 20

    Woodland Hills Baptist Church will have two days of revival services Saturday, February 19, and Sunday, February 20. The Saturday night service will begin at 6 p.m. and the service times on Sunday will be at 10:30 a.m. and 6:15 p.m.

  Rev. Jimmy Dale Sartain of Nashville, a former interim pastor of the church, will be bringing the messages. The music will be under the direction of Linda Williams of Abbeville, a former Minister of Music at the church. Instrumentalist will be Barbara Warren oganist, and Sammie Cobern, pianist.

Sunday, Feb. 20

    Union Hill CME Church will have their annual Black History Program Sunday, February 20, beginning at 2:30 p.m. Rev. John Crowder of West Springhill M.B. Chuch will be the guest speaker. “Everyone is invited to attend this special service,” says Dr. Rev. Johnson, pastor.


  Chapel Hill M.B. Church invites everyone to come out and worship with them during their  Black History Program Sunday, February 20, beginning at 3 p.m.

  The message for the evening service will be delivered by Rev. Phillip Brackett of Everdale M.B. Church. He will be accompanied by his church family.

  “Come and join us, and help lift up and praise the mighty name of Jesus on this wonderful occasion,” invites Rev. Jerome Battle, pastor. The church is locaed at 1140 CR 118, Water Valley.

Sunday, Feb. 27

  Pine Grove West Church is hosting a Senior Citizen Program Saturday, February 26, beginning at 12 p.m.

  “Please come and visit with us and if you can’t make it, send someone in your place,” invites Pastor Cleveland Alexander and the Pine Grove West Church Family.
