Brad Sartor, Associate pastor of Water Valley United Methodist Church, will be the speaker for this week’s Lenton Luncheon at Water Valley FUM. This service will be held during the noon hour (12-1 p.m.) Thursday, March 31, in the fellowship hall of the church.
Bride By Grace Church in Water Valley, located across from Fred’s Dollar Store, will host a revival April 1 – 3. Friday and Saturday night services will begin at 7 p.m. and the Sunday morning service starts at 10:45 a.m. Rev. Donald and Martha Slider from Cartersville, Georgia will be the guest evangelists. Rev. Slider pastored several years at Gatewood Church of God in Coffeeville.

The Stewards and Steward-esses of Miles Memorial C.M.E. Church will sponsor a cookout on Saturday, April 2, in the fellowship hall at 208 Simmons Street from 10 a.m.-until. Plates will sell for $6.50 and sandwiches for $3.50. Plates will include fried fish or pulled pork, spaghetti or baked beans, cole slaw, and dessert. Coffeeville First Baptist Church will be hosting the Associational Bible Drill on Sunday, April 3, at 2:30 p.m. Connie Rogers, director, invites the public to attend. If you are interested in starting Bible drills at your church, this will be an opportunity to see how drills are conducted.

Sylva Rena Baptist Church will hold revival services beginning Sunday, April 3 through Wednesday, April 6. Sunday services will be at 11 a.m. and 7 p.m. Services will begin at 10:30 a.m. and 7 p.m, Monday to Wednesday. Bro. Hal Clark will be the evangelist and Bro.
