Bruce Television Station Broadcasts Political Program
W07BN/TV-7 is hosting a series of “Meet Your Candidate” programs on Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday evenings beginning Friday, June 3 for Yalobusha County candidates. The programs will be broadcast live from the TV-7 studio in Bruce and on Metrocast Cable Channel 98 throughout the viewing area as well as streaming on-line via w07bn.com or Facebook.com/tv7bruce. Other tentative dates for Yalobusha County candidate appearances will be June 10, 17, and 24, and July 1, 8,15, and 22.

Friends Of Oakland Announce Fundraiser
The Saint Andrews Presbytery has deeded the Oakland Presbyterian Church to the Friends of Oakland Association. Saturday, June 4, beginning at 9 a.m., a Community Yard Sale will be held on the church yard with all proceeds going to Friends of Oakland for upkeep and repair of the building. The church will be open in the event that someone would like to see where their contributions will be used. Davidson Elementary Offers Free Summer Meals June 6 – July 1
Free summertime meals will be available to all kids 18 years and younger. The meals will be served at Davidson Elementary School, 207 Goode Street, Water Valley from June 6 through July 1. Serving times will be from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. each day.

Bell Family Schedules Family Reunion
The family of Lucius and Mollie Perkins Bell, along with related families of Pritchard, Fly, Porter, Perkins, and Hughes, will have a reunion on Saturday, June 18, beginning at 10 a.m. in the Yalobusha Country Club at Water Valley. There will be a presentation on the Perkins, Walker, and Bobbitt families following the noon meal. Information will also be available on the Bell, Raules, Carr, and Turner families. These families lived around the Hatton, Long Branch, Ford’s Well community and surrounding area.
