    Starting this month Victory Baptist Church will have Bible classes on Tuesday nights at 6 p.m

Sunday, August 7

    The closing of the Jones family reunion and the Spring Hill South M.B. Church Family and Friends Program will be Sunday morning, August 7.

    Sunday school will begin at 10 a.m., followed by the worship service and the program at 11 a.m.

     “Come and let us give thanks and praises to God, thanking Him for family and friends. Truly God is good and He is worthy to be praised,” stated Rev. W. M. Jones, pastor. Sis. Mary Jenning is clerk of the church, and Sis. Ella Mae Jones and Sis Ophelia Jones are sponsors of the program.

    The Pleasant Grove Church family invites you to share in a special day of love, support, and encouragement for Pastor Larry J. Hervey on Sunday, August 7, beginning at 2:30 p.m. Pastor Larry W. Ware and the Bethlehem Church Family will be honored guests for this service.

    On Sunday, August 7, Victory Baptist Church will celebrate the one year anniversary. Pastor Sammie Townes and the Springhill North M.B. Church will be special guests.

    “Everyone is invited to come out,” stated Rev. Keith B. Howard, pastor.

August 7 – 10

    You are invited to attend a Gospel Meeting with Earl Manning in the Coffeeville Church of Christ August 7-10. Sunday School begins at 10 a.m., with worship following at 11 a.m, and the Sunday night service will start at 6 p.m. The services Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday will begin at 7:30 p.m. each day.

    Lesson Topics will be: Sunday morning, “Let Me Help You Write Your Book,” Sunday afternoon, “God Works In Mysterious Ways”; Monday p.m., “God’s Great and Precious Promises”; Tuesday p.m., “It’s All About God”; and Wednesday p.m., “Safe in the Grip of Grace”.

August 7 – 11

    Revival services will be held at Hopewell M.B. Church August 7-11. Sunday service will begin at 6 p.m. Monday-Thursday the services will begin at 7 p.m.

    Elder Michael Hickman of Abundant Harvest Church of God in Christ, Charleston, will be the guest speaker.

    “As blessings flow, we will experience a reviving that will begin in us. We encourage your participation,” stated Pastor Lawrence Matthews.

August 12 – 13

    New Providence M.B. Church will sponsor a fundraiser weekend on August 12-13. They will sell fish plates on August 12 at Southern Kitchen, located on Highway 315, from noon until 4 p.m.

    There will be a car wash August 13 at Renasant Bank, 7 a.m-noon. The cost will be $5 for cars and trucks, with SUV’s at $10. There will also be a carnival on August 13 at the Baker Street Park, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Admission will be $5. An Amish heater will be raffled and tickets cost $1 each. Contact or see any church member to purchase tickets.

Wednesday, August 17

 Pleasant Agers will meet at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church August 17, with a potluck meal at 12 noon. Less Morgan will be in charge of the entertainment. He is a member of the Bollinger singing goup. The church is located on CR 231, across the railroad on the left. Pastor Ron Jenkins invites everyone to attend this event.
