Saturday, September 15
  Victory Baptist Church in Coffeeville will be giving away school supplies on Saturday, September 15, to any parent in Yalobusha County who has a child or children in the 3rd 5th, 7th or 9th grade. The give-away will be between 9 a.m. and 1 p.m.

    Bethlehem Baptist Church will host a training session for Sunday school teachers and Sunday school superintendents on Saturday, September 15, between the hours of 9 a.m. and noon. Rev. Timothy Daniels of Grenada and Pastor Larry W. Ware are the training facilitators. A complimentary lunch will be served following the classes. If you are interested in attending, call Sis. Mamie Shields at (662) 675-2920 so preparations can be made.
  Mrs. Shields serves as director of Christian Education and Rev. Ware is pastor of the church.

Sunday, September 16
    The Mt. Moriah District Association Usher Federation’s “All Dressed in White Lunch-eon” will be held Sunday, September 16, beginning at 3 p.m. in the Mt. Moriah District Association Building, located at 3657 CR 211, Coffeeville.
    Rev. Johnny Roland, 2nd vice moderator of the Mt. Moriah District Association, will deliver the message. Deacon Reginal Baskin is president of the usher ministry and Sis. Sarah Monger is chief usher.
    “Everyone is invited to attend this luncheon,” states Rev. Amos Sims, association moderator.

    Springhill North M.B. Church will host the annual Choir Day Program Sunday, September 16, beginning at 3 p.m. Everyone is invited to attend this special program says Pastor Sammy Townes and Choir President Janet Woodard.

    Chapel Hill M.B. Church will host a choir anniversary and musician’s appreciation program Sunday, September 16, beginning at 3 p.m.
    “We are asking all choirs to come and render an A & B Selection,” states Sis. Josie Drane, choir president.

  New Hope Baptist Church will host the Yalobusha County Nursing Home devotion Sunday, September 16, beginning at 2:30 p.m.

    Teen Challenge will appear at the Water Valley Church of God, Sunday night, September 16, beginning at 5 p.m. There will be testimonies, singing and refreshments. Teen Challenge, Voice of Victory is out of Brandon. The church is located on Highway 315, towards Batesville. Teen Challenge are “hope” pushers, Jeremiah 29:11 (NIV).         “Everyone is invited to attend,” says Pastor Jerry Vaughn.

Monday, September 17
    Woodland Hills Baptist Church will host the annual fall meeting of Yalobusha Baptist Association Monday, September 17, beginning at 7 p.m. Bro. Billy Hill of New Hope Baptist Church will be the guest speaker.
    “Everyone is invited to come  and join us for a great night of fellowship,” stated Bro. Truman Scarbrough, Yalobusha Director of Missions.

Saturday, September 22
  The church family of Hope-well M.B. Church is on the move for Christ, worshiping Him in spirit and truth, lifting Him up through songs.
    “We are cordially inviting all choirs, soloists, groups, and praise teams to join us in our annual Choir/Concert Celebra-tion, to be held September 22, beginning at 7 p.m.,” report the Hopewell Church family.

Sunday, October 7
    Bayson Chapel will have their 57th Harvest Program Sunday, October 7. The Morning Service will start at 9:45 with Sunday School, which will be followed at 11 a.m. by the regular worship service. Lunch will be served at 1 p.m.
  The Harvest Program will begin at 2:30 p.m. The spoken word will be given by Rev. Eddie Goliday of Clear Creek M.B. Church, Oxford. He will be accompanied by his church family and choir.
  Pastor Amos Sims and the Bayson Chapel Church Family cordially invite everyone to come and celebrate with them during his special service.
