Water Valley is getting ready for the 4th annual Water Valley Studio Crawl which will be held on a Saturday this year. The event which will start on Sept. 29 at 5:30 p.m. will continue until 9 p.m. when a closing event will start at Bozarts Gallery to finish off the annual event with style.
There are several changes this year, with the first change being that the event is being held on a Saturday instead of the usual Friday, and that there are extended hours at Bozarts with the closing fashion show. The idea was for people to have fun visiting all the studios and then to have something fun to look forward to after the actual “crawl.”
The fashion show will feature designs by Julia Ray and professional models sporting her creations.
Another addition to the crawl is various musicians are going to be playing live music at various stops. There are always one or two groups playing, but this year there will be more playing than ever before.
Dutch and Bijou will be playing at Bozarts, and Dave Burns and Andy Sewell will be playing on the porch at Pati D’Amico and Bill Warren’s place. Expect more music at various other stops including Jared Spears and others.
I imagine that these changes will only add to this popular event as it continues to draw lots of people from surrounding areas, so plan to attend and put on your good walking shoes.
