Annual revival services at Jumpers Chapel Congregational Methodist Church will be held Thursday through Sunday morning, October 18 through 21. Bro. Kenneth Harrison will be bringing the message for each service and there will be a variety of special music, as well as congregational singing.
Services begin at 7:30 each evening and at the regular worship hour of 11 a.m. on Sunday. A fellowship meal will be served immediately in the fellowship hall following the Sunday service.

Goshen Memorial Chapel will host their fall homecoming Services Sunday, October 21, beginning at 11 a.m. This will be followed by a pot-luck lunch and then gospel singing in the afternoon. Back for this event will be the “Cannanlanders” and “Fishers of Men” to help lift the name of Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior.

Springhill South M.B. Church will have their 54th annual Pastor and Wife Appreciation Program for Rev. and Mrs. William Jones, October 21, beginning at 2:30 p.m. Rev. Columbus Bell, along with his church family, will be special guests.

The members of Zion Grove M.B. Church in Tillatoba invite the public to worship on Sunday October 21, at 2:30 p.m. for their annual homecoming program. The guest speaker will be Rev. L. C. Smith, the pastor of New Canaan M.B. Church in Pickens.

This Sunday, October 21th is “Homecoming Sunday” at First Presbyterian Church.
The church, originally called “Otuckalofa Presbyterian,” was organized near a cane brake on the banks of Town Creek on Oct 14, 1843. Former members and friends are especially invited to join the morning service. The message will be brought by Rev. John Wingard, a former pastor who served at the church from May of 1986 to June of 1993. At noon there will be a fellowship luncheon. After the meal there will be time for any comments or memories anyone would like to share.

Chapel Hill M.B. Church, 1140 CR 118, Water Valley, will have their annual Fall Revival Services Monday-Thursday, October 22-25, beginning at 7 p.m. nightly.
The guest speaker will be Minister Vickie Brown from Como.

Bayson Chapel M.B. Church is hosting a Leadership Develop-ment Workshop Saturday, October 27, from 9 to noon.
“Being a leader requires a lot more than just knowing how to tell other people what to do. Leadership demands an abundance of personal qualities and skills, including self-awareness, empathy, charisma, confidence, determination, time management, and clarity of purpose,” stated Rev. Amos Sims, pastor.
