Christmas Parade Rolls Down Main On December 1
The Annual Water Valley Christmas Parade will be Saturday, December 1, starting at 1 p.m.
All churches, businesses, factories, school groups and individuals are urged to participate in the parade. If you would like to register your entry contact J.C. Watermelon Pageant Winners Encouraged To Participate In Parade
All 2012 Watermelon Pageant Winners are encouraged to participate in this year’s Christmas parade. Each winner shall wear his/her crown and sash, and is responsible for their own transportation in the parade. Please contact Project Chairman Kim Wilburn at (662) 832-0411 for additional information.
Jeff Davis Schedules Christmas Party
The Jeff Davis School Christmas party will be held Saturday, December 1, beginning at 6 p.m. in the fellowship hall of Bethel Baptist Church. All former students, their families and friends are invited to attend. Please bring a covered dish and join the group.
Come Share Cookies At The Oakland Library
The Oakland Library Cookie Exchange will be held Friday, November 30, beginning at 3 p.m. Those attending are asked to bring two dozen of your favorite cookies and your recipe. Also you are invited to share your favorite Christmas story or memory.
