Sunday, January 27
Smith Chapel M.B. Church, Coffeeville, will have a Pastor’s and Wife’s, Elder and Mrs. Richard Smith, 12-year appreciation program Sunday, January 27, at 2:30 p.m.
Minister Melvin Brock will bring the morning message and Pastor Mitchell Steen of Sanders Chapel M.B. Church, along with his choir and church family, will be special guests for the afternoon appreciation service.
Lunch will be served immediately following the morning service. Preceding the appreciation program on Sunday, the church will have three nights of praise and worship January 23-25, beginning at 7 p.m. nightly. Minister Leonard Williams of the Williams Brothers Quartet of Jackson will bring the word on these nights.

Filling the pulpit on Sunday, January 27, for both the morning and evening services at Woodland Hills Baptist Church will be Water Valley native Franklin Dunn. The morning service begins at 10:30 a.m. and the evening service at 6:15 p.m. “Everyone is invited to come out and hear Rev. Dunn,” states Travis York, worship leader.
Sunday, February 3
Pleasant Grove invites everyone to an evening of hallelujah, hand-clapping, foot-stomping praise on Sunday, February 3, at 5 p.m. The evening’s order will feature music by the Hearts of Joy, Musically Inclined and others. It will also include a dramatic, interactive presentation. Other groups and soloists are welcome.
Sunday, February 10
Everdale M.B. Church will have the annual Black History Program Sunday, February 10, beginning at 3 p.m. Minister Marcus Dudley, pastor of Kingdom Movement Church, will be the guest speaker.
February 10 – 12
A gospel singing and revival will be held at Shiloh Baptist Church February 10-12. The church is located at 77 CR 327, Big Creek. “The Trailsmen” Quartet from Tupelo will jump-start the revival with a singing from 10-11 a.m. on Sunday morning, February 10.
Dr. Clarence Cooper, former pastor of Emmanuel Baptist Church in Grenada and also of New Liberty Baptist in Calhoun City, will be the guest evangelist. Services will begin on Sunday night, February 10, at 6 p.m., with Monday-Thursday services beginning at 7 p.m. J. D. Long will be leading the music and there will be special music each night. Saturday, February 17
Union Hill C.M.E. Church will have their Black History Program Saturday, February 16, beginning at 5 p.m. in the evening. The guest speaker will be Rev. John Crowder of South Spring Hill Church.
“Everyone is invited to come out and join us for this special service,” invites Rev. James Johnson.
Sunday, February 17
The annual Usher Day Program will be held in Jones Chapel M.B. Church, 1397 Pea Ridge Road, Grenada, on February 17, beginning at 2 p.m. Rev. Columbus Bell, pastor of Philadelphia M.B. Church of Oakland, will be the special guest.
