Sunday, February 3
Pleasant Grove invites everyone to an evening of hallelujah, hand-clapping, foot-stomping praise on Sunday, February 3, beginning at 5 p.m.
The evening’s order will feature music by the Hearts of Joy, Musically Inclined, and others. It will also include a dramatic interactive presentation.
“Other groups and soloists are welcome,” stated Rev. Larry J. Hervey, pastor.
Saturday, February 9
Union Hill C.M.E. Church will have a Valentine Fundraiser February 9 at Folson’s from 8 p.m. until midnight. Admission will be $3 single and $5 per couple. Everyone is invited to come out and dance. There will be a DJ on site and free snacks will be provided. This event is for ages 18 and up.

Bayson Chapel M.B. Church will have an Educational Workshop from 10 a.m. until 12 p.m. Saturday, February 9. There will be guests speakers from the school system, Job Corps, and ITT Teck on-line institution.
Everyone is invited to attend this informational program. Gift packs will be given to those in attendance. “This program is our way to give back to the community and surrounding communities as we celebrate Black History Month,” states Pastor Amos Sims. “Join us as we go forward.”

Everdale M.B. Church will have the annual Black History Program Sunday, February 10, beginning at 3 p.m. Minister Marcus Dudley, pastor of Kingdom Movement Church, will be the guest speaker. Everdale is located at 410 Calhoun Street in Water Valley.
February 10 – 12
A gospel singing and revival will be held at Shiloh Baptist Church February 10-12. The church is located at 77 CR 327, Big Creek. “The Trailsmen” Quartet from Tupelo will jump-start the revival with a singing from 10-11 a.m. on Sunday morning, February 10.
Dr. Clarence Cooper, former pastor of Emmanuel Baptist Church in Grenada and also of New Liberty Baptist in Calhoun City, will be the guest evangelist. Services will begin on Sunday night, February 10, at 6 p.m., with Monday-Tuesday services beginning at 7 p.m. J. D. Long will be leading the music and there will be special music each night.
