Thursday, April 4
    Bethlehem Missionary Baptist Church in Coffeeville is hosting its next “First Thursday” seminar this week on Thursday, April 4, at 6 p.m.
    The topic for this month is evangelism. Pastor Larry W. Ware will be an instructor. The public is encouraged to attend along with the membership of the church. Bring your Bible and come ready to learn.

Saturday April 6
    Joyful Generation of Anchor Baptist Church will host their annual fish fry on Saturday, April 6, from 5-7 p.m. The church is located on Highway 7, north of Water Valley. Plates will be $8 and will include fish, fries, slaw, dessert and drink. Take-outs are available. Homemade cakes, pies, etc. will be for sale. Door prizes will be given, but you must be present to win.

Saturday, April 13
  The Jones Chapel Church family invites everyone to help celebrate their beloved pastor’s retirement after 46 years of dedicated service. The service will be held Saturday, April 13, from 4-7 p.m. in the Jones Chapel Church.
April 14-16
  The annual spring revival at Sanders Chapel M.B. Church will begin Sunday, April 14, at 3 p.m. The revival services will continue Monday and Tuesday, April 15-16, beginning at 7 p.m.
    Pastor Craig Johnson of Joyous Fellowship Church in Sardis will be the guest speaker on Sunday and Monday, and Pastor Lenair Person of Pine Grove in Water Valley, will be the guest speaker on Tuesday.
    “We are asking your deacons to help with the devotion on the night of their choice,” said Pastor Mitchell Steen. “Everyone is invited to attend these revival services,” concluded Pastor Steen.

Sunday, April 21
    Union Hill Church will have an Usher Program Sunday, April 21, beginning at 2:30 p.m.
    “We are asking all ushers and everyone to come out and be blessed in the name of the Lord,” stated Rev. James Johnson, pastor.
