April 22-25
    Spring revival services are scheduled at Pleasant Grove Church April 22-25, beginning at 7 p.m. each night. Pastor Sammy Townes of Springhill North in Water Valley and Traveler’s Rest in Greenwood will be the guest revivalist.
 
Saturday, April 27
    A Christian Education Sem-inar will be held on Saturday, April 27, in Bethlehem Missionary Baptist Church at Coffeeville, from 9 a.m. to noon.
  “The public is invited to attend for information that will help build stronger teachers and leaders,” stated Sis. Mamie H. Shields, Director of Christian Education, and Rev. Larry W. Ware, pastor.
  Pastor Timothy Daniels of Gore Springs will be the facilitator. Refreshments will be served following the seminar.

    Kevin Davidson and The Voices will be presented live in concert April 27, beginning at 6:30 p.m. in New Beginning Kingdom Ministry at Grenada. Doors will open at 5:30. The church is located downtown on the square.
  Appearing along with the featured artist will be Unified Praise of Grenada and Nu Alfa of Greenville.

Sunday, April 28
    The Everdale Missionary Society will celebrate the women teaching the Word of God Sunday, April 28, beginning at 3 p.m.
  “We are looking forward to you being present,” stated Rev. Phillip Brackett, pastor, and the Missionary Society members. Pastor Michael Gordon and Spring Hill Church from Senatobia will be special guests.

  The deacon ministry, along with the entire Pleasant Grove Church family, excitedly invite you to  their annual Deacon’s Fellowship Sunday, April 28, beginning at 2:30 p.m. Pastor Clarence Buchanan will deliver the word. He will be accompanied by the New Birth M.B. Church congregation. Other guests from Spring Hill, Pope, will also be present. Lunch will be served before the service begins.

    Family and Friends Day will be held at New Life Church of God in Christ on Sunday, April 28, beginning at 3 p.m. The guest speaker for the program will be Rev. Richard Smith of Smith Chapel in Coffeeville. The church is located at 10273 Kennedy St, Coffeeville.

Thursday, May 2
    A National Day of Prayer/Evangelism Revival will be held in Bethel Baptist Church Thursday, May 2, beginning at 7 p.m. Bro. Dan Robertson will be the guest speaker. He is Associational Missions Director for the Golden Triangle Baptist Association.
     Bro. Robertson served as a pastor for 32 years in Mississippi, and nine years with NAMB and IMB before assuming the position of AMD for Golden Triangle Baptist Association. He is also presently serving as president of the Mississippi Associational Missions Directors.
  The National theme for 2013 is “Pray for America,” emphasizing the need for individuals, corporately and individually, to place their faith in the unfailing character of their Creator, who is sovereign over all governments, authorities, and men.
    Matthew 12:31 was chosen as Scripture for this year, “In His name the nations will put their hope.”

Sunday, May 5
    Everdale M.B. Church will have a Church Anniversary Program on Sunday, May 5, beginning at 3 p.m. Bro. Lenair Person, pastor of Pine Grove East, will be the guest speaker.
    “Come out and help us celebrate this joyous occasion,” invites Rev. Phillip Brackett, pastor. Everdale is located at 410 Calhoun St., Water Valley.
