Thursday, May 2
    A National Day of Prayer/Evangelism Revival will be held in Bethel Baptist Church Thursday, May 2, beginning at 7 p.m. Bro. Dan Robertson will be the guest speaker. He is Associational Missions Director for the Golden Triangle Baptist Association.
     Bro. Robertson served as a pastor for 32 years in Mississippi, and nine years with NAMB and IMB before assuming the position of AMD for Golden Triangle Baptist Association. He is also presently serving as president of the Mississippi Associational Missions Directors.
  The National theme for 2013 is “Pray for America,” emphasizing the need for individuals, corporately and individually, to place their faith in the unfailing character of their Creator, who is sovereign over all governments, authorities, and men.
    Matthew 12:31 was chosen as Scripture for this year, “In His name the nations will put their hope.”
  “Please join Yalobusha Baptist Association at Bethel Baptist Church for the national day of Prayer/Evangelism Revival,” invites Rev. Truman Scarbo-rough, DOM for Yalobusha Baptist Association.

Sunday, May 5
    O’tuckalofa Baptist Church will hold their Homecoming Service Sunday, May 5, beginning at 10:30 a.m.
    A pot luck lunch will follow the service.
    The gospel group the Old Paths of Atlanta, Georgia will be in concert. Daniel Ashmore, grandson of Dale and Lee Ashmore of Southaven, is  a member of the group.
    “Everyone is invited,”said Bro. Dan Dickerson, pastor.
    Everdale M.B. Church will have a Church Anniversary Program on Sunday, May 5, beginning at 3 p.m. Bro. Lenair Person, pastor of Pine Grove East, will be the guest speaker.
    “Come out and help us celebrate this joyous occasion,” invites Rev. Phillip Brackett, pastor. Everdale is located at 410 Calhoun St., Water Valley.
