The third J.C.H. Scholarship Fund Gospel Fest will be held in downtown Coffeeville, May 11, beginning at 10 a.m. and continuing until.
Choirs, soloists, or groups are asked to participate with four or more numbers. A concession stand will be open.

The annual Driver’s Flat Cemetery Day will be held Saturday, May 4, beginning at 10:30 a.m. A business meeting will be held about 11:30 a.m. and a pot luck lunch will be enjoyed at noon. Water Valley Chapter No.5, Order of Eastern Star, will install new officers for the coming year on Saturday, May 4, in the Masonic Temple on Champion Circle. The meeting will begin at 5 p.m. with a covered dish supper and installation ceremony to follow. The meeting will be open to friends and family.
